You got it! I actually have one almost ready to go... was working on putting it together very soon. Will replace the two deck springs that place / remove tension on the pulley’s / brakes

Great video. I just want to add that it is better if you only change one belt at a time and let it wear in before you change the lower belt or you are going to have a crazy amount of hours adjusting clutch and brake tensioner. Ask me how I know? I do have the 38 inch cut and the pulley set up is identical.

Thanks for the suggestion,... I’ll give that a try next time, appreciate your comments and support! I actually have an issue with the deck brakes on mine, can’t find pads and they’ve worn a slot into them where the pulley rests when blades are disengaged. Working on a solution but too many other items on the priorities list.

@@Prblmslvd I took the brake pads for the pulleys on my spindles off. Was too much drag on the engine with blades disengaged and trying to start with a new belt. Had ajustsment for handle properly adjusted...New engine pulley and new belt causes me to let belts and pulley wear in. That brake is on amazon. Type in this part number 961-0168D It bolts to the place you put your feet. I searched for it here.... www.partstree.com/models/13am662f765-bolens-lawn-tractor-2004/seat-fender-assembly-7/ I then get the part number and go to amazon.

I’m about to do a quick blade replacement video,… just did mine, quick and painless with some nice tricks. But I found blades for mine by searching replacement part for part # MTD 942-0610. Always try and find the model on manufacturers website then look at parts diagram for original part. I know as time goes on it gets harder and harder to find the replacement parts :) good luck and stay tuned for the blade replacement video!
