This funny take on the tale "Jack and the Beanstalk" is one of my favorites from Jay Ward's "Fractured Fairy Tales" on the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Really hilarious 😂.

This is the best of the Fractured Fairy tales. The Giant's and his "Wiiife's" voices crack me up. The auto-translator interpreted the Fairy Godmouse as "Godmother"--it just couldn't help itself, I guess.

Not kidding: The legend had an origin in prehistory. The giant's castle was on the island called St. Michaels in Cornwall, England. It is a historic tourism site today. Look it up!

Jack and the beanstalk would actually made a good survival horror tbh. Imagine you sneaking through a giants castle, navigating through everything from a mouses pov. All the while having to hide from the hungry giant, who lets his presence known through his massive shadow and “Fe fi fo fum!”
