I have seen them used for trail maintenance and guys building steps or paths on steep slopes. it looks like a simple blade or plow attachment would make a lot of sense to haul a load of gravel and be able to spread it with the same machine.

this will be super handy for a farmer or anyone with lots of rough property that constantly needs to bring heavy items back and forth (water runs). loaded down i bet it would pull a pretty decent load too. i would use it for moving and bucking logs out in the woods where you cant fit a truck, or the terrain is too rough for a mower and trailer.

Man. I just built an electric one with nearly the same wheel base(thinner to get on a front door) and other lifting specs. Although mine dumps itself, also acts as a lift table, is equipped to move trailers with a hitch, tow any implements for a lawn tractor, and even has a front loader/dolly/fork/ lift front end with two points of articulation. It also pobably runs longer on one charge then 4+ tanks of fuel when actually being used with full loads. Not to mention is controllable with one finger. After my next spine fuse I’ll buy a beefy enough drive control it will all be radio control in addition to the cabled controller. I built a crane thing for another attachment so I can lift awkward sbc’s but I think that will end up being attached to my work bench. I’ll have maybe $200 into it after I buy that fancy drive control for about $180.

I don't see it replacing the common wheelbarrow considering humans have been using them for over 1800 years, but it could have it uses for very rough terrain. We have all been pushing a loaded wheelbarrow that hits a hole, and then newton's 1st law takes over with all that inertia.

It would have been helpful to see what uphill grade it could take fully loaded (15-45 degrees). I mowed lawns for 30 years; I would never go forward when loading my big mower into my truck bed. Load equipment in reverse (backwards) when loading into truck bed. That way, when you unload machine, you can go forward. For safety reasons, you NEVER want to be in front of the equipment you are loading or unloading.

@1:02 he says open the choke to start? I've been working on small engines for 40 years. Every engine that I have seen that has a carburetor, requires you to close the choke prior to starting. And it is an engine, not a motor. A motor requires a power source, such as electricity.

So the point of this wheelbarrow is to carry loads that are heavy without straining yourself, but you still have to manually dump the bed? You would think for this kind of money they could make the hopper dump via engine power.
@RealToolReviews7 жыл бұрын
With the hinge location, the "strain" is minimal.....the only time it took any effort on my end was with the 660lb max capacity test. The have a hydraulic dump bed on one of the larger models --- and it hauls almost twice this much weight.
