Hi, I’m in the process of joining the Marines right now but am hesitant due to the sexual harassment claims that have been coming up. Including Vannessa Guillen’s story, it’s scary how something like that could happen to someone serving the US. Could you make a video on how you feel secure and safe being in the Marine Corps? anything relevant to in a case of someone being sexually harassed or feeling unsafe what would happen? Just be be prepared for the daily challenges that active duty Marine Corps provides. There is a lot of bullshit you have to deal with coming from NCO’s and higher ups. Everyday is different and makes you appreciate home and family like never before. You build a tough exterior and resilience from all the crap you deal with but it does make you better. I love and hate it since I’m still currently in.

Hello Yarieliz, I use to be in the Air Force and while stationed at the old Norton AFB, California we worked with the Marines at 29 Palms base, Camp Pendleton, Miramar MCAS (which was a naval base at the time) and we shipped their troops and equipment regularly when I was working on the C-141 Starlifter aircraft. I noticed from your information you talked about that the Marines have not changed much since I was on duty. Many of the things you do each morning is what we had to do in the Air Force at the time I was on duty and we usually didn't work too hard, but when we did it was busy time usually loading or unloading cargo from aircraft. I wish you all the best with your job and it sounds like you have an easy job for a Marine.

Changing your diet should help, intermittent fasting should too. here some different times you can utilize 18/6 16/8 to start some like waiting longer to eat. For example 18 is not eating for eighteen hours and only eating within the 6 hour period. it's not that hard but may not be so tired.

You may have figured it out by now. Vegan diet is good short term but is not the ideal diet for military due to its lack of DHA and EHA that ethe brain and muscles need. Lacking Animal DHA and EHA causes fatigue and stress on the brain and body. The DHA in plants don't translate the same as animal based DHA. Just letting you know. Drinking water is going to help in weight loss. I can relate to you about the weight issue. Maybe eat meat 3-4 x a week and do fish and vegetable dishes the rest of the week. Lower carbs unless you are physically active. Desk jobs and weight go hand in hand i know this first hand. God bless you and thank you for your service you are appreciated. Lots of love and respect!

Brycelyn Paige its a very physically demanding MOS. If you feel as if your body can handle 4 years of hiking, field operations, and deployments give it a go. But its def not impossible!
