Yaritzel Salinas - Procuro Olividarte - 3rd Place (HS Category) - 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza

Yaritzel Salinas is a student at Grulla High School in La Grulla, Texas. She placed 3rd in the National Vocal Competition high school category of the 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza with her interpretation of “Procuro Olvidarte”. Yaritzel is accompanied by Mariachi Aztlán from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is one of the largest and most important mariachi music festivals in the world. Over 1,000 mariachi musicians, educators, and aficionados gather in San Antonio, TX every year to be a part of competitions, workshops, and events hosted by the Extravaganza.
