Yarmouth to Newport Bus Journey, Isle of Wight

Excellent video - you should have more viewers than that. The timing is perfect and covers a lot of issues that other video makers never even bother to consider. Good weather and not too much blaring sun (which can cause dazzle and white-out). Right time of day - not too dark. The tide is in - in Britain, most coastal locations look infinitely much better when the tide is in. The bus window is clean. Other in-experienced video makers wouldnt think to just simply wait for the next bus, if their window wasn't clean enough. I often think "very little thought was put into their efforts". Well done. Do all the routes in the island - I've never been, yet.

The man who thinks it was a bit blurey - has he ever filmed on the top deck of a bus.? I often have to hold on for dear life just to go down the stairs to get off, and that's before you even START to think about taking photos.!! I suppose he's one of those people just used to going absolutely everywhere by car.!!!

Thank you for your comment John. I often use my phone to film and try and hold it as still as possible for long periods of time, so it’s not always as perfect as I’d like it to be. But I’m working on it.

Some cameras used for scenic drive videos seem to have the problem that they cannot always maintain focus while on the move, hence the blurring of this video referred to in the comments. Additionally, the retention of delays at bus stops and traffic lights etc. is as much an annoyance to the viewer of the video as it is in reality. Who enjoys waiting in traffic?

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Since filming we’ve learned from past videos of what works and doesn’t and with upgraded filming equipment in the pipeline, plan to return to the Isle of Wight again.
