@@normaharne5659 I was so sad I couldn’t get a video since he was watching it on my phone. We have 5 cats and he is the biggest yarn lover out of all of them. He was abandoned and was living outside for a few years. When we took him in he had pretty much given up on life. He had a urinary blockage and had to spend 1 week in hospital. He was then diagnosed with FIV & FELV. He is going to be having surgery soon to remove part of his ear canal because he has a pretty serious ear internal ear polyp. Also dental surgery for a couple loose teeth and a toenail surgery. He has been through a lot but he is a strong kitty.

Good day! Thank you for taking me along on a journey back to crochet. …you inspire and make us feel “ We can do it”. In my younger years all I made was table doilies and blankets. I been having so much fun watching you and feel abandoned when your tutorials tell us to at my own pace or patterns I get lost and lose track and fall into a rabbit hole of wonky too many too little and end up with crazy patterns…lol I’m good as long as I have working along and your sweet voice. Made an attempt to use some of my yarn to "punch needle" Not gonna happen. "They" say it's easy but after hours and hours and several videos I've decided to surrender the equipment to Goodwill. My Grandmother crocheted tons of this, all of us Grandchildren got slippers for Christmas this was in 70’s, the slippers never wore out. I cannot read a pattern, I follow everything you do on the video. I’m getting better even being Left Handed. I believe you when you say “ come on you can do it “. I know how you feel about watching right-handed crocheters teaching stitches. I am a lefty too, and I have watched so many right-handers teach that I think my brain automatically switches to the lefty version. I tried watching a rare left-handed teacher teaching crochet & I had trouble following it! 😂😂

I love learning new stitches. This is the most helpful thing for me. Some yarn talk is also helpful. Growing up red heart was my only option. Learning about different yarns and what is good for knitting and what is best for crochet is helpful.

Artists often do warm up exercises before they start "real work." This is a clever idea as a warm up and as a way to learn new stitches, new combos, and new techniques. Anyone who did a series of these could later seam them as a lapaghqm or afghan. I too love Mr. Rogers; i'd watch it with my kids as my afternoon break. . I'd love to be your hands to work that for you! You are kind your talent is enthusiasm!

Idea for you. You started out making bags, you've reached a million,.....come out with what you would call the Million Dollar bag using one of your flashy strap handles. I got swept away with bag straps on Amazon too and bought prbly 40. I design my bags now around the handles. Awesome colors and cross body bags are so popular. Rose is going to love that you are doing Ami's. Good idea for stitch swatches!!!! Take care.

OMG I haven't seen that Phentex for years! I turned 70 this year and when I was a kid in Canada everyone had those Phentex slippers lol. They were dangerous, lol, but fun. You could really slide on the floor with them. Have a great week Crystal 🥰

Love the straps! 1st one ! The second reminds me of the flower center granny squares. Flat flowers. You could get the gems to match in the middle of the flowers and do gold somewhere!😊 The off white is perfect for your newspaper liner! ( I got an Amazon package with more yarn to hopefully be enough yarn to finish my blanket I want to make. 😊 My fur babies got me a gift card for mothers day ! And hubby got me a tie dye nightie . And some Ferrero Rochet. I don't spend on greeds just needs anymore. So this us a treat. I'm kinda scared to start my blanket in case I don't have enough to finish. But I guess I have to or I'll never know. I'm half excited and half stressed out.
