Hello, thank you for the great description. I'm wondering if you are able to explain how to work the resulting stitches. I get a weird twisted run of 3 confusing stitches and it's not clear where to insert the needle. I've been Googling but can't find anything!

Can u please help me my pattern says ybk, s1p then moss stitch to last 20 and ybk,s1p then moss last 19 but ifbi have 20 and ybk and s1p leaves me 18 not 19

How do I do yfwd, sl1, ybk when on a knit row?

??? I do this when k1 p1 but I never have “extra” stitches (I was doing it to solve the back and forth of the tail, simply flip the tail to the front or back between stitches)
