Yarn button tutorial by Vetus Stercore

This is a tutorial on how to make your own scallop yarn buttons.

You will need: A cardboard circle numbered 1-12, a tapestry needle, an old button and yarn.
Cut out a circle of cardboard, divide it with 12 notches, numbered 1 to 12, like at clock.
Follow the tutorial on how to make the button. The sequence as to lay out the 12 front spokes are as following:
1 ➝ 12
12 ➝ 6
6 ➝ 7
7 ➝ 1
1 ➝ 2
2 ➝ 8
8 ➝ 9
9 ➝ 3
3 ➝ 4
4 ➝ 10
10 ➝ 11
11 ➝ 5
5 ➝ 6
6 ➝ 12
12 ➝ 11
11 ➝ 5
5 ➝ 4
4 ➝ 10
10 ➝ 9
9 ➝ 3
3 ➝ 2
2 ➝ 8
8 ➝ 7

They are fun to make aren't they. I don't know the brand of needle, I collect old tools and needles from those lovely mixed bundles of 'everything grandma stuffed into her sewing basket'. So I just chose the prettiest one for the tutorial 😊
