Exactly what i was thinking .. I don't know if I'll be able to walk from one day to the next and get shopping adventures help me out when i want to shop and buy new yarn. I normally like to run my fingers over and through the yarn before i buy it so her taking the time to tell us how it feels or if she likes it or not is perfect to me. There's no way she could understand how much this means to us. 💚

I’m like you and have to drive 30 minutes to my Michaels but they only have 1/2 aisle only of yarn. I so enjoy your shopping trips. I’m on disability so can’t get much yarn but live vicariously through you. Neither my Michaels or Hobby Lobby carry amours. I love making blankets. I’m still not confident in making clothes. Caron cake's are awesome to make a c2c. I made a blanket with the acrylic Caron cake. I know that you don't like making blankets but you could make pillows out of them doing the corner to corner. I think that would be beautiful. Especially with the cotton because it would hold up great.

I had no idea that Target had yarn. I have never seen it at our store either. Crystal, I have always wanted to learn how to knit. I have been crocheting for over 40 years. I am 53 and last year I decided to watch some youtube tutorials and I taught myself to knit. This has been so gratifying. I now have several finished projects under my belt. I encourage you to try knitting. It does take practice to get the hang of it. I love the fabric that knitting makes. Give it a whirl, what have you got to lose? I got my amour hooks at Amazon. I was told to look everyday because the prices go up and down. I got my set for $23. I wanted the bigger amour hooks too so I get them one at a time, 40% off at Hobby Lobby. I've never seen yarn in a Target.

I love that Mr Bod gets involved, my hubby took me shopping for yarn on Saturday and he's very much the same, in fact he was on his hands and knees going through and finding colours for me. Keep up with the way you are guys it's wonderful. True love. I too have become addicted to crochet and yarn. Keep doing what you do guys. The thing with clovers is that you have to get them on amazon! I got my whole set for 32 bucks 2 months ago!

Crystal, those yarn holders are actually to keep your yarn upright and helps your yarn spin without getting all tangled...especially if your yarn isn’t a middle feeder. I find that they are expensive, particularly the wooden ones. So on Pinterest I found easier ideas. I use a heavy Marble Paper Towel holder, so it won’t fall over. Also, $80 for that pack of crochet hooks was way too expensive. I have seen them a lot cheaper on Amazon.
