That was lovely Kelly. I did look for you on Sunday but didn't see you. It was v busy. I agree that the stalls that didn't hang their yarn and have it in some kind of order were not as easy to look at. I did go a bit crazy and bought loads but am having them as birthday and Christmas presents. I think you bought some beautiful ones. xx

It was lovely to see you at Yarndale, albeit briefly. Lay Family yarn were definitely my favourite vendor too. I agree with you that it wasn’t quite the same this year, I spent the least I have ever spent at Yarndale. I think the Saturday was just too busy for me, there were some stalls I didn’t get into despite going round a few times. I did still enjoy it though and will be there next year (but I’ll go on Sunday). 😊

Just wanted to say what lovely things you said about Rosie's moments, that was my mums stall and that was my dad who spoke to you about the gift a ball. The lavender is on the skeins of wool as it is meant to repel the moths but also the logo on their wool is a picture of their house and all the lavender is from their front garden. My dad does all the bagging of the lavender as he has no sense of smell so my mum leaves it to him 🤣 thank your for mentioning them in your vlog ❤

Ahh, that's so lovely!! I spoke to your dad for ages. He's so lovely! He's so proud of your mum, too. I love their stall. It's always one I look forward to. I like the lavender. Their stall always smells gorgeous. But my poor friend is highly sensitive to it, so just had to walk straight past and miss out on all the fun stuff. It's so funny that your dad bags it all because he can't smell it. My grandad had no sense of smell, and my nana made him do all sorts 😂 I can't wait to cast on with my gift ball. I'm so excited, and your dad definitely helped with the excitement, telling me of all the goodies that could be inside. 😁Xx

Hi Kelly! I love all your purchases. We have the New England Fiber Fest In November. It occasionally falls on my birthday which Is my excuse for spending a fair amount. Last year I bought very little. Some of the Indy dye colors were almost too bold. Not enough yarn, too much of everything else. That said, I’m going again this year! Do not ever feel bad about what you buy or how much you spend. As a designer, you must touch all the yarn! Have a great day!

Oh, I hope you enjoy New England Fibre Fest this year. Hopefully, there's more yarn that's to your taste. I'll go to yarndale again next year, but I feel like if it's the same as this year, then it could be my last. Which is a huge shame. Thank you lovely. I do need to try lots of yarns, I just don't like people to think this is normally spending for me since I know a lot of people just can't do it. I would never be able to do it if I didn't save for a year 😂 xx

OH, that purple ! 😍🤩 and I can relate to liking that specific shade of purple. Actually, I think that goes for all colours. I am curious to see what you will knit up with all your beauties ! I'm sorry that it was a bit disappointing when it comes to vendors, and some missing ones. I've had a bit of an opposite experience over here some years ago; not that some indie dyers weren't doing shows, but that they seemed to do mainly shows. I didn't have enough funds while visiting the show, but thought I could buy online later on - turned out the choice in the webshop was way less than at the show.. So maybe I should save up for next year as well..

Yes, you're right, I think that does work for all colours. Someone could say their favourite colour is blue, but which blue? Navy? Royal? Cornflower? There's so many variations of a colour. I can't wait to see what they become as well! Aww, that's an annoying experience, not being able to get the things you've seen. I definitely recommend saving up to go to a yarn show. It gives you freedom, and it just makes the experience so much better knowing you can have all the things if you want, and you saved for them.

Lovely to have a wander round yarndale with you. I love Kelly’s yarn (Layfamily Yarn) I have a few skeins of hers and had an advent a couple of years ago. Do you watch her podcasts, they’re so gentle and calming. You have some great purchases.
