Hi Dawn, I saw you from a distance but there was loads of people around you all. I couldn’t get near enough to speak but I saw your beautiful smile you looked as if you were enjoying yourself. I had a great time and was spoilt. My daughter gave me money for a Janie crow blanket set and Michael bought me a Bulga basket to put the blanket in when I’m working on it. All for my birthday next month. It was my first wool show, I wasn’t sure I could manage it but I took my strong painkillers and just avoided the densely crowded areas and managed 3 hours. I’m glad I seen you even though it was from a far I can tell you had a fab weekend take care love Doreen xxx.

Hi Dawn, what an interesting Podcast and your wools are amazing, the Freda Kahlo skein is fabulous, and it's hard to choose another from all the others. Your presents are all gorgeous, love the tin, the red shoes, and the other knickknacks, you're a very lucky girl to have such kind friends!! Oh and the needle protectors, yes they'll have to go into the doll's house as they are far too special to be stuck on the end of knitting needles! xx

I still can’t quite believe I actually met the real Dawn from my telly box, with Jeanette and Karen too, what a treat! I met lovely Gogglebox Alison and George too, but in the Skipton Oxfam bookshop browsing crafting books! Totally smitten with all your Yarndale yarn Dawn, especially the Cuddlebums yarn box, just too pretty for words and as for those teeny tiny shoes, oh my, absolutely adorable. Hi Dawn, I think I am right in saying that down in the south east where I live we dont have craft/yarn shows the likes of Yarndale which is such a shame, thank you so much for all the footage of what was on offer loved it all. Especially the little beaded cross stitch kits, really would like to have a go if my eyes would let me, thought the little honey pot one reminded me if the Delft pottery. Oh what a fantabulous weekend..🥰🥰 I just love all your yarn buys, my kind of colours… and those little red shoes ☺️☺️ So sorry you had issues with your 123 stitch order, I find them great… the paper is known as perforated paper… I find it hard to hold ( good old Arthur in my old hands..!!!) but you can actually sew fabric around it and then put it in a hoop… good choice of gnome design 😉😉 it looks quick but there’s a lot of stitching in it… I backed mine with felt, I was a bit lazy… Vonna pfeiffer has a good tutorial on how she backs her ornaments… loved all your footage, I’m now off to find and dust off my suitcase….😉😉☺️😘xx

sounds like you had a great time at Yarndale, loved seeing what you bought. They have the Jim Shore kits at Create Nostalgia, postage might be cheaper from the UK rather than the US? Just a thought incase you want to order more.

Your haul is fabulous! There is one seller in the Netherlands that sells West Yorkshire Spinners, She’s called Schaap en Draak and I just this week received my order of 6 skeins (all the new bird-colourways + kingfisher + the ‘23 x-mas colourway Nutcracker)! The Euro 7,xx you had to pay for the embroidery kits is customs and taxes slapped on by our government. It’s not the sellers fault.

Id love a velvet based one like you did for jeanette when/ if you start up again.. Jeanette tried to do one with the velvet ..but she wasn’t happy with the way it looked so we decided to do it with calico.. Thanks for replying 😊xx
