with all due respect, your position on smart phones is a bit curious. many great orthodox rabbis with very broad shoulders have expressed otherwise. especially considering that one of your main messages seems to be about pgam habrit, I was so surprised to hear your downplaying the danger of smart phones. I'm not saying it's okay for people to bully others about them, but it's a very important issue, especially people with young kids. I can attest for myself. I got rid of my smart phone 4-5 years ago and it was one of the best moves I made and my wife is very happy about it too. guarding the eyes is extremely difficult in today's world and anything you can do to remove the YH from your pocket, home, from your fingertips etc. is a very big part of the battle. I understand many cannot live without it for various reasons, but if we look deep inside we should be really honest. It takes strength, but rabbanim have been extolling those who can. And for those who cannot rid themselves of them, they really should explore options by organizations such as Technology Awareness Group (TAG)
