On this day in December 2023 I had planned to visit, review and document the three closest water impoundments/dams within a two-hour ride from my home outside Pittsworth Qld. Two of them. Yarramalong Weir near Brookstead and Coolmunda Dam near Inglewood, offer camping opportunities with different levels of facilities. There was a third location, Lemontree Weir, on my list to visit however I was unable to find its location. That's for another day.
