The country was formed 250 years ago and this guy is giving these all nonsense stories. I'm a British soldier and have known many Gurkha soldiers who work and live in the UK. According to these legends, the flag of Nepal formed during battles between Gurkha state and other small states. It was just a irregular pieces of white cotton clothes with 2 signs ( the Moon and the Sun). It didn't have any color. During the wars that Gurkha soldiers fought with other small states, they would tear their own or dead soldiers' clothes to make a flag at the battle ground. And most of the time the clothes were soaked in blood which is why the flag bears a red color now.

People forget that Nepal is not just a country. It is a unification of all ethnic, cultural and tradition view of people in nepal. Flag of nepal has been in Triangular shape since we know But do you know the steps to make nepal flag. i mean sure we can all draw 2 triangle and put moon and sun and a border. But in that process the flag we draw by hand will all be different. Nepal flag is a masterpiece . It has so many steps to make a flag. and there is a video for it showing the difficulty. This video however dedicate the mathematics genius. i mean people can quickly judge a book by it cover. The video however shows how a Nepali person made the flag uniformed for international stage, i mean the flag represent people of nepal. The flag of nepal to me is not just a representation of a country but the entire population that live in nepal from human, animal and plants. I mean nepal is diverse in flora and fauna. the flag is unique and could have been changed in modern time to meet the standard of square and rectangle flag. i mean who want to cut and extra time to cut the triangle from rectangle and square also the moon and sun also has alot of steps. i mean there must be whole lots of logistic and cost and so much more needed to design such piece. i mean think about cost of producing a triangle flag in thousand. i live in sydney and in my area you will know a person of nepali etnicity live in this or that house because we all have the flag , colour for the flags is also important i mean if you chose purple it would be costly. i mean that why purple is a least found colours in flags, beside all this The flag has to be same, not extra triangle in sun or other mathmatical error. There is alot of steps to make nepal flags it in the web. and if you think it easy just try it yourself.

The King Prithivi Narayan Shah propounded the history of the National flag of Nepal. Shortly after the unification by the King Prithivi Narayan Shah, the new constitutional government was made, and the National flag of Nepal was adopted on 16th December 1962. Unfortunately, the designer of the national flag of Nepal is still unknown.

Nepal flag is mathematically, astrological and geographically perfect.It doesnt give any hindu or other religion sense. The 8 petals on the moon and 12 petals on the sun resembles 8 phases of moon and 12 stages of the sun respectively. These phases and stages of moon and sun affects in human, animal, plant life and even the huge water body on earth.And There is saying in Nepal that there will be Nepal till the end of the universe till the moon and sun complete full cycle of their life .And there and 12 main Chakras in human body .Actually 102 but 7 are the main and after you master 7 Chakras, you might wanna explore other 5 and other Chakras detaily.
