Love this camera, excellent for travelling light. Got a CCN for sale now that works like a charm

Thanks for the great video. Considering picking up a CCN that came available locally. Has a slightly foggy viewfinder but hopefully that can be fixed.

Thanks so much for this video Blake! Not much content on this camera. Really in love with the design and thinking of picking one up

Hello, nice video! One question though.. Are you sure there's a parallax correction? The frames in my Yashica CC do not move as I focus to close and far objects. The focusing square in the middle of course does move

You are correct, there is not. Only the later GX version has it.

They are indeed parallax correction, when you focus on something close, you will have to have it inside the parallax lines.

Just ordered one! Very cool. I had a Konica Auto S3, I’m curious how this compares :)

When I am setting the ISO, I am a bit confused as to if the little metal piece should be centered at the place where the number is indicated or the dots that are adjacent. Any thoughts?

where the number is. Dots are for intermediate settings (100 . . 200 is 100, 125, 160, 200)

Hi. I was wondering if you have figured out a way to use a circular polarizing filter on this. I just got one and ordered a cp filter for it. I didn't consider that it was a rangefinder before my purchase. Since it has the light metering on the lense behind where the filter would go that won't be a problem but can you still take picture with the polarizer without screwing things up? any advice would be appreciated

a bit of a shame for the iso limit to 500. However it should be noted that if you use the camera with an iso 800 film while setting the iso to the max 500 setting, you are actually overexposing the film, not underexposing it. The problem is not the underexposure, but rather the fact that shutter speeds will be higher, thus reducing the advantage of using a fast film.

I just picked up one of these fine cameras. Having already owned a GS and a GT I was keen to try this CC out. One thing troubles me. It could be just the camera I bought or it it may be an actual feature of this weirdly wonderful camera. When cocking the shutter, I have found the film can be still be advanced. What I'm trying to say is, I got a couple of blank frames on my first test roll. On other cameras, once the shutter is cocked and the film is advanced, nothing can happen until the shutter is fired. I can still advance the film without having taken a shot on the CC. Is this normal for this quirky little camera?

Mine locks after advancing and wont advance until the shutter is fired. Seems to be a worn part .

Very nice video on a great camera. I've got Olympus mju ii and Nikon L35AF2 as well, this is better built, and has a better lens.
