I have no idea why people dislike Vin Scully. He's a legend. He is by far my favorite announcer because of the fact that he's not loud and annoying. But at the sametime he shows a good amount of emotion in clutch situations of a game. And he gives a vivid image of what's happening.
@luisrosales93497 жыл бұрын
Baseball Fanatic. His way of commentating a game has been the same since like the 60's. Nothing wrong with that, I like it. but some people might not prefer an old school announcer like Scully. They prefer Joe buck and other commentators.

I loved watching games Scully called. In an interview he said he just calls the play and shuts up and lets the crowd speak or something along those lines. A good roar of a crowd especially in the postseason gives me chills so I hate Joe Buck being an ass and screaming over it.

Most insane debut ever. Everyone was talking about him. You’d watch every game just to see what he would do that night. Not that I expected him to keep that pace up, no one could. Still its crazy to think he’s already out of the league. Memorable career for sure though.

For people who call Puig a show boat, look at him sprint out of his stance after every hit. He had to slow down so he wouldn't pass up Hanley on one of 'em.
@bumsergeant9 жыл бұрын
Players are expected to sprint out of their stances on base hits, but not no-doubt homers. If you're using a base hit from Puig as an example, that makes no sense. Of course he's gonna sprint after a base hit
@knoxbox12129 жыл бұрын
Keenan Ahmad he sprints on ground balls. He has so many infiels singles. I'm tired of watching players jog to first base just because they hit an infield ground ball. Puig may not make the smartest plays, but he hustles

The motivation was there. However telling a 23 YO kid to slow it down, this is how we do it, let's play smart can hurt his mindset on the gm. He played freely but it was with good intentions. U can see the hustle every time he hit a hr how he round home plate in secs. While everyone is lolly gagging. He made baseball fun at a time we had highest payroll & losing b4 he showed up.
