My father passed away suddenly in 2023. He couldn't do Hajj and I plan to go for hajj with my mother and do his Hajj e badl next year insha Allah. So lucky to have been present in the gathering that YQ gave that talk to in Makkah. It was so emotional for all of us present that day especially knowing how much YQ wanted to go back to hajj but was denied severally by you know who until this year. Alhamdullillah. This talk was the night before Arafat and helped recenter all of us and remind us of what a loving God we have. Thanks a lot YQ.

Never lose hope brother 🙏. INDEED you will go for Hajj only if you have faith in your Rab and keep praying. I had never thought that i will be able to go for Hajj because of health, financial issues etc but I never gave up. I would yean for always and kept speaking to Allah Almighty whenever I would be by myself.. And here I am in 2024 with my whole family performing Hajj and Umra. Please pray for us so that Allah Almighty accepts our prayers and thanks for everything in our lives.

I am so so grateful, the day of Arafat was the best and although I stayed in the tent until 5pm because of the hot weather, I came out and sat near a tree for the last 2 hours to make my personal duas. I had done hajj twelve years ago along with my husband, Alhamdulillah.. every hajj season comes, I really miss the wonderful time we spent in the holy land, and really wish to go there again to experience the whole thing again. This talk really opens my understanding of doing hajj, which is to transform ourselves. All these time I read the verses of hajj, never link it to the following 2 ayat after them, which are Al Baqarah ayat 207 and 208 as explained clearly by the Sheikh. May Allah reward him immensely.. A day without being connected to Shaykh Yasir Qadhi seems like forever .... May Allah swt look at your heart and not only accept your Hajj and Duas but may you be the waseela for Every hujjaj to be forgiven and attain Al Hajjul Mabrur. May Allah Swt accept all of the Hajis Duas and ours too as we long and wonder if Hajj is a possibility for us. Nevertheless, we make a Niyyah for performing the Hajj in the near future. Dr Yasir Qadhi, can you please do a talk on tasawwuf and muraqba specifically as I frequently get dreams telling me to do muraqba (Islamic meditation) to draw close to Allah swt but i don't understand how to do this. From my little research i understand the Prophet pbuh used to do muraqba in Cave Hira when he received revelation. Please could you shed more light on this. I grew up in my early years, exposed to salafi Islam but have over time realised and discovered tassawuf/sufism in my later years. There is not much awareness of this in London so i am looking for someone who can help and guide on this. Thankyou.

Yes agreed Hajj is about the Spiritual aspect however because Islamic scholars and Masjids talk about Fiqh, Fiqh, Fiqh and Aqeedah then what do you expect from the majority of Muslims ? The Imams and Scholars only talk Fiqh in Jummah and Hajj workshops so pretty please discuss with the Scholars and Imams that Fiqh should not be discussed in such detail with the masses or they will miss all the glory of the spiritual aspect. I can only pinpoint a few Muslim Scholars who focus on thought and not Fiqh
