Wow this song speaks volumes! My parents divorced when i was a little child. Due to the Hmong culture, I was given to my mom and so Im split between my parents. Times when I visit my dad he would reminiscent about my mom. When I'm with my mom and talks about my dad she would reminiscent about him as well. I bet they often dreams of each other even though they've been divorce for over 30+ yrs! I cried listening to this song!

I like that at the end he say "txog caiij koj tsim, koj tsis muaj cuab muaj yig" and he left her. She finally can let go and her soul can finally find a new place for love. she can finally love again. very poetically written. Edit it: My interpretation of the song. because in her song she says in the beginning that she was in love with him but not as much as her soul was in love with the guy too deeply that it didn't know the physical form was fighting with the lover. hint: they broke up n became enemy that's why she keeps dreaming that they were still a couple,married and he love her still. ( that's why she was confused when she saw the lover in her dreams again). She tells herself (soul) that she not with the guy anymore and to stop dreaming of him and longing for him. Hint: She goes on a soul journey in her dream to tell her soul to find a new place( come back home) however, at the end she wants to stay in the dream (perhaps this time her spirt found a lover in a different world and the guy looks just like her ex lover n they were happy but she (He) says "time to wake up cause you haven't have kids and started a family" then he left her and she woke up from the dream. She finally can let go now because she found the reason to why she couldn't be happy in reality when they broke up (her soul was sad). Now it's not because the soul is now with understanding with the physical form. She is now again complete with herself.
