Fabulous, a true work of art ! The modular design can be converted to be a router table, spindle sander and so much more with just a few more builds. Great work !

I know there are some negative comments here but honestly you are extremely good at what you do. I’m a retired cabinetmaker so been used to Wadkin machinery ( which was considered one of the best makes ). But what you make to substitute paying thousands for is very good. Keep safe all of you carpenters out there, I’ve seen guys lose fingers . It ain’t pretty and they don’t grow on trees. 🇬🇧👍👍

This saw kzbin.infoUgkx84IcU5pbZd1Qrz8u4-YRLmJax7kdRi7B comes in handy in many ways. When I had a small (dead) tree fall I started the process of disposal by using this saw and cutting off the small branches. Then slowly work on the small trunk with undercutting and letting it fall down. With many trees on acres of land paying for a tree service can be expensive. It also is nice in that it can be used in hard to get areas like along my creek. It's also safer and quieter than a chainsaw. It obviously can't cut down massive trees but it does work fine for small ones or brush. And of course since I already own a Black

all kinds of excellent inventions and precision work here. especially noteworthy is the foot operated engagement/disengagement of the caster base, but the list goes on and on. and although i love the core idea of a table saw that doubles as a workbench, this table saw suffers from the usual problems of trying to convert a handheld circular saw into a table saw. a table saw without a smooth height adjustment is very limited in what you can do with it. (just think about doing dadoes and finger joints). and a table saw without either a riving knife or a splitter, or any form of any-kickback is not a machine i want to use. (think about ripping a board with tension in it or jointing an edge without any form of anti-kickback). you could fairly easily add a splitter and some kind of anti-kickback, but you'd still have a machine that is seriously compromised you look at the work that went into this project, and the amount of planning and hours are a lot. to do this right you'd have to do even more work than that, fabricating a height adjustment mechanism that was precise, smooth and had no play in it, plus a riving knife. at that point you are into so much time, planning, and opportunity costs that you have to be thinking it could be a lot 'cheaper', given the brevity of life, to just buy a really good table saw with a cast iron table and get on with the work you can do with it instead of on it then again, if doing this sort of thing is your thing, it's going to be a very satisfying result and a lot of pleasure in using something you built to your own specs, in which case, go all the way with it and dont leave out anything important

All that beautiful work and I kept thinking, awesome-but how do I easily, quickly and above all accurately adjust the saw height? In the end I completely agree with you, purchase a portable table saw. There's awesome deals on used tools all over the Internet. Then, customize your purchase to have it work perfect for your needs. All that said, wow is this guy a perfectionist! Absolutely first rate work!
