This is a good focus people on how Japanese society rely on women at working space.
Japanese people, especially women are pretty fixed a time so they can manage well and workers can get to know the patterns.
Thank you.

Does anyone know roughly what time of day they set up? I'm guessing they're ready by the noon/lunch hour. Even then, the sheer work ethic necessary to run a traditional oden stall just amazes me. They work long past dusk, then they have to pack it in (and although it's not shown here, we see how long it takes to set up), then they have to wash everything when they get back "home". I have always been impressed by Japanese cuisine, the Japanese work ethic, and what (little) I know of Japanese tradition. God bless them all!

I don't think they are allowed to start before the work day is finished. It's a matter of traffic blocking during the peak time.

@@TheVetusMores There's a different vid where the yatai owner talks about packing up the food stand round 03.30. Sometimes so late that, rather than heading home, he went to the morning market first to buy stuff for next night. Which he then had to take care off once he got home. So, yeah, that meant not getting to bed until 7-8 in the morning.

sorry but the description annoys me a bit. Saying it's cause she's a woman has nothing to do with the work any of those people in the video do. She is probably the chef of the team and also looks as if she has way more experience than the others, also due to the age difference. Men and women can do the exact same thing when it comes to cooking or leading when it's stuff like this.

Good stuff but from watching a few of these it is obvious that there is no issue with wind where these people set up. No way would these set ups stay up in a decent brisk wind. I am wondering if they pay for the power that they connect to ?? What about the fresh water supply they all seem to connect to?? What about the sullage/waste water connections they connect to on the streets.?? Is it free for them or do they pay a fee. It seems that the infrastructure is provided by the government but does it cost them or is it free. I am simply curious and if anyone knows I would be interested to hear.
