People who think that i didn't show return Ticket I showed them Onward ticket, ONWARD ticket means ticket out of the country that you are going in my case it was Muscat to Abu Dhabi but they insisted on getting the ticket back to India which is not a rule but illiterate people don't know meaning of Onward ticket, It is not compulsory to return to your home Country you just need Onward ticket from the Country you are going. And many of my Sikh Brothers are commenting that i meant to insult Sikh people by saying Sardarji spoke in wrong way with me, it is not for all the Sikh Brothers, whenever there is a news in foreign media about a Indian or Sikh person they mention it as a Sikh or Indian then no one says anything to them my best friends are Sikh and I don't need to prove it to anyone, most of the educated Sikh People are taking it as a way of talking but uneducated people want to make it a controversy jo ki veere kadde honi nhi tan tussi relax kro te channel visit karan di koe load nhi haigi

What are the rules of in Poland regarding that ? if there is *need/rule* established that Spouse need to show verification then there must be a way to verify it. Ab tum apni Sali ko bula loge to kaise staff verify krega ? I mean Sirf Marriage Certificate hi proof nahi hona chahiye... Lekin Kuchh to hoga na jisse verify kiya ja sake . jaise husband name etc.. I have flying out for 9 years from India across many airports and till date, I have only had bad experiences at Delhi airport. The staff there think that they have an entitlement to harass passengers, and when you do fight back because I knew my rights and rules, then they hardly have a good reason for harassing in the first place. @@Jahdhh They only have right to check the visa. That's it. I travel from Canada via US a lot of times. I am Canadian permanent resident with US visa and they ask all the stupid questions - show return ticket to India, or to Canada, where you will stay in US, give the address and all that stuff. Whereas US immigration officer does not ask a single question or proof of reservation or anything. If the country if I am traveling to feels I am not allowed, let them deny me entry. European, or South American countries never ask these questions when I travel from them to Canada via US. It is not just one airline but all the airlines have some similar issues. Sometimes even the immigration officers are not aware of the rules and I have to show the rules to the immigration officer in India from official government website. Once I was traveling to Turkey on eVisa. Neither the airline staff or the immigration officer knew Indian passport holders with US visa are eligible for Turkey eVisa. I had to literally open Turkish government website and show them that. Even then they were not convinced. They did had a discussion for 1 hour and only then allowed me on board despite a valid visa. Once an airline staff at Delhi even asked me to show return ticket from Canada to India, it was Air Canada direct flight to Canada. I was so shocked I asked her directly "Do you even know what permanent residence means?".

Two times I have taken flight from Delhi to Malaysia both times bad behavior I faced. Even last time I took boarding pass and stood 30 minutes for immigration when my turn came I showed immigration staff my E-Visa he checked and asked some questions after long pause he said I need print copy of this visa. Then I went for print out after that again I reach to the counter but that person was not on the counter so I went to other counter and he didn't demand for hard copy. They give respect foreigners but humiliate Indian Nationals. I found Malaysian and Indonesian staff very friendly and supportive.

Im an Indian who's living in Germany since past 2 years. I can assure you thaz delhi airport staff apni alag hawabaazi me rehta hai. They're rudest to the people of their own country for no reason. Ive travelled here in EU in many countries and I saw that theyve got the friendliest staff I ever witnessed. Wrna apna Delhi me toh, I dont wanna say anything, but it sucks. And the biggest thing is that I dont even know what's the possible reason behind it.

I had similar experience with indigo staff in Dehradun airport while leaving for Maldives. They said it’s mandatory return ticket, whereas I had Canada visa and onward ticket. Spice jet didn’t have issue but indigo was making hue and cry. Customer service standard is going down and it will be worse in future as airlines are buying hundreds of more flights and they will have to recruit and train stupid by semi skilled manager

Yatri bhai, sorry to hear of your experience at IGI. I have been a US citizen for almost five decades and have visited India oh about 7, 8 times. We come only with expectations of hassles every step of airport experience, coming and going. At times, it has been smooth experience at times not so much. Even I was harassed at Kolkata airport for not having Kuala Lumpur visa even though I shared them the mail that I received from the Malaysian embassy, stating that “a tourist does not need any visa if they are transiting at the Kuala Lumpur Airport “. I was travelling to Seoul ( South Korea ) by having a transit in Kuala Lumpur. At last they forced us to combine the PNR by charging ₹10000 ( For 4 Person ). Yeh Indian airport ka staff sirf harass kar ne ke liyeh hain 😢😢

True, Delhi AirPort harasses - I was flying to US via Abu Dabhi on green card and it was a transit after COVID. AI Lady refused to issue me a boarding pass for half hour saying UAE isn’t transiting passengers. I showed her their website but still after half hour I asked her for a written refusal. She got her manager who then wrote to UAE immigration who sent a mail saying I can clear and that’s when I was allowed to board. When the manager took me back to her for a boarding pass she behaved like he asked for her kidney.

@@VikasChaudhary1 yes i read but transit visa is needed for abu dhabi as few indians use it as a donkey route for going to europe. So airlines don’t allow transit via abu dhabi now unless you hold transit visa. Dubai airport you can transit without any issues. Even though dubai website says you can transit via abu dhabi if layover is less than 8 hours but airlines at India don’t allow u to board unleas you have transit visa due to few indians going illegaly via abu dhabi to europe and not coming back.

Similar thing happened to me in Ahmedabad airport. I was going to guangzhou via singapore airlines and the lady at the immigration counter was asking unnecessary questions about my china visa. I already had a bunch of old chinese visa's during my previous stay. I also had expired schengen visa but still she wasted my time and made me uncomfortable for a good 10 minutes. This can happen in any indian airport. Depends upon luck most of the time.

Absolutely disgusting airport. My airline allowed carry on laptop bag but these idiots wouldn’t allow me to put extremely light weight jacket in it. I refused to take it out and guy asked ticket counter to harass me especially by calling here when my turn came. They even started checking carry on bags for co passengers. Delhi airport is worst airport. They stole expensive valuable stuff from check in baggages and staff don’t do anything because staff is also involved. Lost items worth thousands of dollars.

Same for Indore airport, i was there to board flight to Delhi, on entrance i showed Aadhar card in printed paper as proof, police officer rejected it, i was worried a lot but army officer said its legal to show addhar on paper, then we got entrance

Such things are common at Delhi airport. Especially with gulf flights they have a special tantrum of 'Return' ticket everytime..dunno why.. :( Had good experience at other airports like Mumbai & Hyderabad..!!

Couple of things buddy - You and Parmveer have witness same in other countries where indian passport is treated with suspicion and the reason for this is that there are millions of indian who have illegally enter other countries. The country that i am living in has over 1 million (official record based upon local immigration) has entered from India and Philippines illegally. and you will be shocked to know that whole mafia system who is working behind the scene from india. They show dreams to indian ppl and send them illegally to EU/US. Now these ppl enter in these countries but CANNOT exist (yes you read it right - they cant exist). So in few yrs there passport expires and in their entire life they have to hide in these countries, coz if they are caught, you cant imagine what these countries does to them. I totally agree on the shame behaviors' by airport staff in Delhi, i have witness the same but i do acknowledge their Question and the reason behind it. So my friend, take it easy and show them your return ticket as it will encourage them to scan everyone thoroughly.

Buddy It’s not always like that. What they can do is check the passport to see how many visas the person has. They can also check their background. If everything looks good, they should not ask much question to that person because not everyone from India wants to settle illegally in another country, and the second thing is that the percentage of people who want to settle illegally in Oman will be very low.

Same but different thing happend with my aunt on delhi to oman. Her sister is staying on oman so she doesn't carry much money and no hotel booking so they didn't let her travel. Airlines demand around 50k inr cash or in saving account on the spot otherwise she will not travel. Then i tranfer the money then she allowed. Nearly 40 mintues before take off.

भाई लोगों अगर AIRPORT वाले ऐसा करते हैं तो इसके पीछे भी कोई कारण होगा शायद उन लोगों में घमंड हे उनकी अच्छी तनखाह का या कुछ ओर पर भाई साहब इसको भी तो घंमड है इतने देश घूमे होने का या अपने 1. 12 M scribers का और अपने चौधरी होने का तो भाई इसमें सरदार या कुछ ओर कहॉं से आ गया ? इसने एअरप्रोट स्टाफ बोला हम जान गऐ ये हम सब को समझा रहा है ओर सावधान कर रहा है पर जो लड़की सरदार जी से पहले इससे बात कर रही थी इसने उसका र्धम या जाति क्यों नहीं बताई ? सरदार ही क्यों ? अच्छा जो बन्दा उनका सीनीयर था वो कौन था ये नहीं बताया । क्यों भाई ? ये सरदार को जी लगाता है अच्छी बात है पर इस जैसे लोग मौका नहीं छोड़ते हमें ओर हमारे लोगों का बदनाम करने का । अच्छा एक बात और वो सरदार वहाँ पर किसी को दिख जाऐ तो क्या करे ?क्या उसको मारे पीटे गाली दें क्या करें उसके साथ ? भाई तुम youTubrs लोगों को सरकार इसलिए भारत से बाहर जाने देती है के भारत का नाम रोशन करो ना के देश में रहकर देश के लोगों को बुराभला कहो । आगे से बात ध्यान में रखना मेरे प्यारे भाई जो आपके 1. 12 M scribers हैं उसमें कई सरदार भी होंगे मेरी तरह l भाई तुझे इतने लोग देखते हैं उनमें बच्चे भी हैं तो शब्दों का चयन थोड़ा ध्यान सें मेरे भाई ।

I faced the same sort of intensive & quite unnecessary screening of my documents by checkin staff of Oman Air .Not just return tickets but hotel bookings of all the cities I was visiting. Possibly he was bored & wanted to spend time. As he was holding the Q a senior came & almost admonished him what's the delay for. He asked what visa did I have & did I have a return ticket. He said Swiss . Asked him to issue the boarding pass. Such useless guys are manning the checkin counters.
