I also want to say thanks to Yaw for sticking with this instead of throwing in the towel. It's been a roller coaster for them and they could have simply folded like other projects have and left their backers empty handed. Please keep "fighting the good fight". I know you will be victorius!

This is really useful as you know I have had issues with my unit purchased in June I know the guys are trying to resolve the issues I have had all the issues the same as yourself. Fingers crossed i will get the team work with me on my unit soon.

am i missing something here, ppl saying they have been waiting for a long time for their rig but the website says 10days etc. Im looking to buy this pro rig or a dof reality rig, cant choose which yet so listening to your vids helps helps alot, thank you. the pro version of yaw2 appears to compete with the H6 price wise and clearly more movement than the H3. im looking for a driving, flying, roller coaster experience and do not mind being thrown around if i crash as that's the point! makes you more involved (wish the bhaptic suit gave you a great bolt if you get shot!) this vid is only 3 weeks old so should i hold off buying just yet? thanks

Hi, I was although looking between yaw and dofreality. And ordered the h3 from dof today. The yaw look great but with what i found on the internet it s not finished yet and I s like playing Russian roulette. You don t now if it will work out of the box or not. Dof is in the business since years and they already made updates to a working product. I really was looking for yaw 2 but all what I saw scared me 😅

@@yannwymann8796by YawVR reports the currently shiping Yaw2's are holding up well from a reliability perspective. The DOF H3 is a viable alternative if you don't want to risk a Yaw, I have a friend that is happy with his H3..

For driving games,I've also had my pitch get temporary stuck like your roll did and then lose calibration. I did have the power high at 90 and putting it to 50 helped but still it sometimes happens. It's as if the sensor temporarily breaks on very fast movement and auto cuts out for a few seconds before coming back in with the wrong position. Also, Have you tried sim racing studio instead? It worked better for me. Though I found neither apps can do yaw rotation correctly and would randomly do 90 degree rotations on racing games but the yaw does work fine with traction loss on the yaw rotation instead or normal rotations.

I only have my power set to 29%, I’ve scheduled to debug this further with Yaw’s software engineer tomorrow

To be fair, I was having an OK experience when I was using lighthouse based tracking, but if you want to use the full yaw you kind of have to use a wireless HMD.. which led me to ask for early access to InfuseVR so I could figure everything out and make videos.. It does also seem like the sensor issues were an issue that will only present after time 😖 In my experience and in the experience of others YawVR will go the extra mile to get you sorted though 🤞

@@ItsVRK I have the wireless quest two and the pie Max crystal has its own issues. Lol but it’s actually really good in many ways…. Support has done well and they have sent me a replacement parts and stuff but it’s the same old problems all the time I’ve never gotten any use out of this.

Do you have the same issues if you use SRS instead of Game Engine? In my experience Lighthouse tracking, StreamVR and SRS with simply allowing the Yaw2 chair to be its own tracking device results in problem free motion compensation. SRS is automatic in recognizing the running game and loading the proper saved profile. USB pass through has never worked and after many attempts to rewire it never will. But I really don't see 360 rotation as critical.

when I was using lighthouse tracking and MC everything was ok, but I've definitely had hardware related sensor issue.. I saw yesterday battery on my left index controller is dead.. I've ordered replacement batteries but they aren't scheduled to arrive till December 😭

Oh man, I also hav the cuolent pitch back grind issue and recently it has been getting stuck in the roll posirion… interesting I’ve also never been able to use it for more than a day pr 2 before several weeks of downtime…. What a gem it is when it has worked however lol

I received 2-DOF last year, but was unable to use it for some time due to renovations at home, the rotation unit only arrived a short time before I did the unboxing video of it though.. I have a pretty big work project this year that has made it hard to have energy at the end of the work day as well.. so Wednesdays is the only day I usually have to record anything when you factor in family stuff on most weekends.

Sorry if this has been mentioned, I'm new to your channel. Have you tried using the Sim Racing Studio software instead of the Yaw software? I hear it is much MUCH better and obviously Yaw probably wouldn't really want to recommend that to you as a fix since it makes their software look bad. Just a thought, hope it helps!

I do own SRS, and Yaw list it as supported software.. In my videos I have been trying to get up and running with the cheapest option (for the benfit of users), I will move onto SRS eventually.

@@ItsVRKI just wanted to make sure you were aware of it, SRS is SOOOOOOOO much easier from what I understand. The small amount it cost compared to the Rig itself will pay for itself in the time saved in my opinion. Good Luck.

Yup!!!! Mine violently pitched backward twice.and i gor stuck....it is very scary!. SZOLT is sending me the new sensors....i apparently have a 2.5 version 2dof

Hope being the key word. Since we aren't KZbinrs or giving them money now. Were just the ones that helped get this started and probably won't ever get what we paid for only empty extension promises. Now new buyers don't even have to pay before they send it out. I'm sure alot of us would be willing to pay the difference to get a unit. I'd even accept a partial refund.
