Can't say I agree. Osei has some independence chops that are amazing. Also, he has a relaxed fluidity when he's playing. To me his ideas are have a musicality and flow. For me in this video of Paa Kow his ideas are disjointed, jittery, lacking in dynamics and subtlety. YMMV

Drummers with their unique style of playing. Paw kow guy is great. He plays on minors so easily. He produces a lot of sounds from the snare drum and other drums. I'm not sure if osei can do all those, though he could be better in grove, praise and the likes.

They are both great drummers ngl, but if you know a bit of drums and timing per se, you’ll know that paa kow, is far more superior than osei... his jazz fusion style of play helps him a lot with this and you can tell, and if you count you’ll know that his time keeping is absolutely excellent 💯🔥 paa kow all day long...also he’s so interesting and entertaining mixing so many styles

Osei might be younger than paw but he's on a good path. I don't care if paw is a legend, you don't see Victor wooten or mksticks play all they know in just these few minutes He should have picked a particular drumline and boss it with many fills but he was just jumping from beat to beat.
