Love the video and the different oils used. I'm suffer from dandruff badly spent so much money on dermatologist and it's only controlled when using the products. Which one of these oils would be better for dandruff.
@YayaDIYCreations2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on your personal sebum level. If you have inflammation and other things going on with your scalp, it is best to talk to your dermatologist before using any new herbs or oils. For me, the blue tansy hair growth oil works best because it is lighter and does not clog my pores. I have an over production of sebum, so I need little to no oils at all on my scalp. I can use it once a week and see results. So, it really does vary. Most of the time, dandruff is caused by bacteria, product build up, or an over production of sebum. Directly cleansing the scalp more often (not the hair) but the scalp, can help with this. Using less heavy oils or products that clog the pores. I hope this helps. 💜
@paigeeats79262 жыл бұрын
@@YayaDIYCreations . Thank you. The products my dermatologist prescribed I have to wash my hair 3 times a week. I told him I'm black and it strips my hair it's a steroid so I can't use it every day. So two weeks on and 2 weeks off.
@YayaDIYCreations2 жыл бұрын
@@paigeeats7926 WOW! 3 times a week for the hair can definitely dry it out. However, it is probably exactly what your scalp needs if you use a lot of oils, butters, and products on your hair and scalp. I actually cut all my hair off about 3 years ago, so that I could wash my scalp more often to treat it. I just wanted to focus on a healthy scalp. Now, I literally wash my hair, condition it, and then leave it alone. My hair is growing like crazy and my scalp has never been so healthy and dandruff free. However, this may not work for everyone. This is my personal case because I had an over production of sebum and I was adding oils, butters, and products on top of that. It was a disaster for my scalp. I will talk more about it in upcoming videos. I still use oils and butters, but not vary often. I try to stick to oils and butters that are light and will not clog my pores. If I do use them as a scalp treatment, I am sure to wash my scalp thoroughly that week.

Yaya, can you mix the oils together to make a super hair growth product? (So tempted to do so) 💙💙💙
@YayaDIYCreations2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Be very careful. Some oils and herbs should not be combined. I formulated each oil for different benefits and because the oils and herbs work well together. You also don’t want to over use these oils. Find out what works for your hair/scalp and if you need these oils at all. It would also be helpful to talk to your primary care physician before using any new herbs. I hope this helps. 😊💜

@YayaDIYCreations2 жыл бұрын
Yes, benefits always vary person to person. You may have a over production of sebum and need to stay clear of and extra oils. There are oils meant to seal moisture into the hair and there are oils meant to heal and protect the scalp. Not every oil is meant for the scalp. However, you should always follow medical advice of your physician. I hope this helps. 💜💜
