So glad I found Mohini! My dad was a huge fan of Ravi Shangai & co, and it must have rubbed off on me a tad. The syncopation between drums/ percussion and voice is just other worldly. I'm drawn to the trad Indian pieces but the more jazz/funk they throw in, the better. It's also hugely educational and has made me at least, listen, break down and examine my perceived notion of what trad Indian music is and why it deserves a place at the table with the other greats. Everyone should be made more aware that this rhapsody exists outside a musically dominated trip!!! Gimme More please!!! Ps: please ignore predictive txt; new phone n I canny work it yet!!!

This song reminds me of the movie " Rangeela" . If anyone remembers the other video song " Tanha Tanha" from the movie will be able to understand what I am talking about. In the video Urmila will run by the sea shore in a Bikini and whenever that song will come on the TV; I had to change the channel despite of the fact that I didn't want to.
