I like your videos and the way you teach mathematics. Most students cannot perceive it as the most difficult subject had it been that every mathematics teacher do the same.

Hi! can i attach the youtube link of your video to the self-learning modules of our department in order for the students to learn more from the contents of this video aside from the modules that will be distributed to them? Thanks a lot.

9:26 I played around with my paper & pencil and found out a new method that best explains why this is! So, let's say you have: (1/2) ^ -4 = x We know that 1/2 is the same as 2 ^ -1 right?? So, you write that down as (2 ^ -1)^ -4 = x Try solving this on your own and you'll understand the part that I'm about to explain: -1 and -4 multiply and result in 4. In the end, you have (2)^4 = x Which is 2x2x2x2 = 16 So, (1/2) ^ -4 = 16 :)

log₅2x-3 = (log₅2x)-3 ≠ log₅(2x-3) Don't you have to follow the order of operations?
@WolfgangBernady7 жыл бұрын
@ *Aaron Fang Shenhao* : Thanks for the reply. I did not notice before, you are right, he casually adds parentheses there. I could easily follow what was meant at every step. I understand the concept of "implied bracket". Question: It that a legitimate thing? I still maintain: Every maths teacher should follow the order of operation, independent of how cool he looks or acts on KZbin. @ *yaymath* : I like your videos, you are cool and everything. Please follow the order of operations in your videos.
