I agree there with you, Coach Yazik, we can call this "Love You Still (Sunset Version) a.k.a. Shivers Version ☺ because it gives us the shivers and chills just listening. And for all of us who know the background of this song and its deep meaning, we really feel Mori and cry with her in this. If you noticed, after the part "If we came face to face.." there was a moment she stopped singing, and Dave looked at her, I couldn't tell, but I think she was about to cry at that point, but she managed to compose herself and continued. As you said, this song and its lyrics really meant something to her, it's her heartfelt message to her dad, her mom and brother. She mentioned about this version on her livestream a few days back. They called it the "sunset version" because it is a stripped down version of the original, just her voice, the piano and the cello, and it is something that we can play and listen to by the end of the day. It is soothing and relaxing. Thanks again, Coach, for always being a big fan, and for continuing love and support for Mori. 🥰

This is so raw and so much more emotional. Whenever I hear that cello start, shivers right away and knowing the background and that they're still estranged. This is sonpainfil for her as you can see. She had to stop and had to gather herself to continue. You can tell this is still so so so painful. Thank you for noticing the nuances in this version and my favourite version of this song. I'm gonna go cry now

This version is more thoughtful, more in touch with the loss they both share but only one acknowledges. That cello sets the tone as it is the most mournful sounding of all the instruments. These two are going to be an exciting team to watch and hear grow. He is ever mindful of her. You see him respond to little tells she gives vocally when things are getting to her. The ending is spectacular with her famous whistle tones being sung off somewhere in a distant spot, very haunting and beautiful. That is why I don't do reactions, I don't get "shivers" like most people. When something is moving or a spectacular achievement I cry. I've been that way all my life. And not little tears but I mean close to sobbing. Once or 15 times after I've heard a song I can control it though tears still come. In a movie this would be sung in a solitary setting and she would be singing to her father in a raw and very vulnerable way. Just raw emotion driving this performance. One of my all-time favorites along with "Could You Be Messiah To Me". Thanks Yazik for your reaction.

I don't know what's the recent status between her and her father. All I know is that she dedicates this song to him as like as message that she wants to say to her Dad. Knowing this really makes it more emotional for me. I have the same issue to deal with my father, but just like what the song is saying, I still love him. 😢 Morissette here is never fails to amaze me every time. I was really in tears listening to this rendition.
