"No birit" means no hitting of high notes. Birit means high note. No birit, no high note. The challenge was not to hit those high notes. As you know, these are two of the most powerful belters in the Philippines. They tried to hold back from hitting those high notes. It was so funny and so hard for these two to hold back from hitting those high notes and belting.

Hi Jacek! Greetings again here from Indonesia! Regarding what you said that this video was the first time you thought you have reacted to Mori singing “And I am Telling You”, I think you are right and I have a request for you to check it out by yourself (or react to it afterwards, that’s also completely fine as long as you have honest and raw opinion on the reaction), which is Mori’s performance on that song on one of her own first single concert (I think it is “Morissette is Made” concert if I’m not mistaken) many years ago, where she sang it in a white Greek-style dress as the very last piece after she sang more than 20 songs insanely amazingly!! I guarantee you will not regret this for sure!! Truly one of her top 3 performance of all times in my opinion!!! Another song that rivals that performance (although a bit below it I think) is Mori’s performance of “Run to You” where she sang in her red dress on a competition with another super big2 male singer called Jed Madela. Since I can’t really remember I watched you react to this one (pardon me if I’m wrong), I want to suggest this performance also next to her performance of “And I am Telling You” I have mentioned earlier. These two songs are what particularly makes me so2 grateful I know Morissette with all the vividness and brightness that always get me in joyful tears, and be thankful that my ears cannot “just” listen to Mori performing these two songs on various occasion at different time but also these two particular performances (“Run to You” and “And I am Telling You”). Make sure you check these two out at least once in your life for sure!!! Hope this helps! All the best for your future reaction and your vocal coaching :)) Gbu abundantly!
