These mowers are iconic. My family grew up in the lawn maintenance business. My grandfather owned his business in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. He used mostly only Yazoo mowers. I wish we could still get these here in the US. I'd be happy to own a Red Roo product knowing it's the same family.

They are all over the internet .... market place, ebay, lots of lawn mower forums in the USA. I own two riders but never really thought about the push mowers. Now after watching this video I will be looking for the next Yazoo push mower I get a chance to buy.

My dad bought me a Yazoo when I was 14 that I paid for by cutting yards during the summer. It was bought from the store on Woodrow Wilson. The Yazoo mower was just not the same when it was no longer powered by the Clinton engine.

With that kind of history behind you only good things can be ahead. I think you sold Yazoo short saying they were only in the Southern US - we knew the riders well in the midwest! They were the 1st truly commercial zero turn riders. Great job preserving a great history!!!!

I use to make the big wheel Yazoo`s in Toowoomba QLD at Red Roo which was owned by R.O. Flemming . R.O brought all the jigs and bemders from the USA and they were a great slasher. We sold Yazoo , Snapper mowers. Perry Scott

jake ehy do ypu point tje discharge chute down instead of straight which would allow the spread tje grass your way it blocks the chute and clumps

I have a S-24 Yazoo Walk Behind mower that I am looking to replace the 5hp Tecumseh engine. I'm undecided whether the 6.5hp predator engine would have the suitable power requirement needed. Which specific engine was used for the Red Roo Mower in this video - Because the Red Roo handled the tall grass rather well. My S-24 frame has minimum wear/tear in which would last several more years. The 1/4" mower blades cut small trees with no effort whatsoever. Within my collection of Yazoo mowers, I have 1 YR48 intact and 1 parts YR48 and 2 YR60s at this time. As far as I am concerned - Yazoo Mowers were unbeatable in the nice crisp appearance of the grass after the mowing was completed. The Yazoos riders are still my mower of choice concerning areas with many trees and other obstacles to drive around while mowing. Thanks & Best Regards From; Mark A. Currens. Versailles,Ky.

I have A YR48 rider. I got it 8 years ago and still use it in my lawn service to this very day. I want to thank your father and grandfather for such a heavy and TOUGH mower. That 60 year old mower has out cut dixiecrappers and the other JUNK they try to push me to buy. Do you know if they will start selling them in the US? I could really use a mower like that.

I can't find this product in the Red Roo line on their website anywhere. Do they still make it? Can it be shipped to the USA? I live in Jackson, Mississippi and would really like one of these. Are there any other lawn cutters comparable to this one?

No they won't Because of Emissions And Safety regulations..... GO whine at the EPA, However it won't do any good...
