I also have quite the mixed feelings on tusk act 4, It's fun to use but gets stomped too hard against KC and KCR Also people who can block it's nails, It strips so much of tusk's damage So yea it's definitely not bad but at the same time not as good as it should be really, Easier to get stands like star platinum outclass it by a whole metric ton of levels it feels kind of weird

As an ex-tusk main (before the bd cancelation), the stand was good. The beatdown literally carried the stand because I would have max auto heal and 1 beatdown either 1: cancels your opponent's autoheal or 2: does some chip dmg. though since it doesnt do damage people shamed on it, but the most important factor is that you have a whole free autoheal for 1 minute. Another reason why tusk was goated (they shadow nerfed it like 2 updates ago) you were able to damage with worm hole nails through ragdoll, causing them to get stunned without their stand (leading to free barrage comb) when they get up if timed correctly. Also, there was an infinite combo with ta4.. you using wormhole nails then golden rectangle (hope you get the block break feature causing wormhole uppercut unable to be blocked), then once they get wormhole uppercut you use wormhole nails leading for you to get a free barrage and jaw breaker, after jawbreaker wormhole nails then beatdown (beatdown was true off of that since it cant be canceled and nails stun for ever), after the bd wormhole nails, and another free barrage, jawbreaker, wormhole nails, golden rectangle, wormhole uppercut, wormhole nails, free barrage, jawbreaker, wormhole nails, nail shots, end of combo (can be extended off of boxing barrage but the game sometimes breaks and boxing barrage can be dashed out of mid way though). oh yeah also the reason why you think wormhole nails feel worse, its because they also shadow nerfed its start up by like 0.5ish seconds.

Ta4 is almost my favorite stand, for me this stand same with the issues it have, its very cool and this stand helps me alot with two problems, the first one is that this stand is very good to catch runners, most of times runners are really bad so they dont block the nails, the second thing is that i can avoid timestop with this stand and this stands "Oras" are really sick

The volume problem of the beatdown yeah I agree with that but the length makes the lack of damage acceptable since the sole purpose of it becomes getting back tea, tea has a 35 second cooldown with 1 upgrade and beatdown lasts 27 of those seconds

I think YBA has a tendency for recycling moves animations. For example, zipper uppercut and wormhole uppercut seem to be the same thing other then zipper uppercut opening a zipper and wormhole uppercut opening a wormhole. Another case is with the "chop" move and white snakes "memory disk" and "stand disk." They are the exact same thing other then white snake holds a disk when he dose it.

From my experience with yba, tusk has the best mix up setup on wake up. After a jaw breaker, a bd or a golden. You can use wormhail nails to setup either a barrage or a jaw breaker. How this works: wormhail nails shoots out 2 of them allowing u to have enough time to dash to the oppenent for a barrage or a jaw breaker. After that u either get a block break or a free barrage into ur combos.

Wormhole uppercut is decent when paired with a golden rectangle nail blocking stun. Basically, if your opponent thinks he's smart and thinks that blocking is hard countering tusk act iv, just use your golden rectangle nail when they are blocking and their block will receive a stun for like 2-3 seconds, uppercut is true in this scenario when they get up.

What I think should happen: TA4's bd becomes a projectile to hit, wormhole uppercut becomes the same as zipper uppercut, parriable but block bypass, hamon doesn't increase the nails' damage, only spin does, but the bd is still affected by the hamon dmg increase, even if changed to a projectile-to-start, wormhole nails pass through everything like emerald barrier's emeralds, but can still be blocked, the gap between each nail in all nail moves is increased a bit, especially for wormhole nails, wormhole uppercut does more damage that the regular barrage as you are barraging someone on the fricking ground, similar to the beatdown.

The only few things I could actually use wormhole uppercut for are: 1. When an aero uses the bomb drop, after getting hit once, use it and since they can't do anything you can hit them for hitting their move. 2. This is, in fact, my only counter for the TA4 is an autolose to KCR thing: time erase. I've done this multiple times in 1v1's, if you time it JUST right (using the move right before the person stops the fime erase or it ends), you will go into the ground but then time erase is so fast that it ends in the like 0.4 second time that the user is in the ground, and so this is just enough time to direct to the KC/KCR. Obviously, the KC/KCR's are gonna use time erase for battling, which is perfect for countering the move. However there are two problems: 1. They can catch on after a while and just... block. And 2. You have to time it REALLY well. While that is possible, you have to both read the enemy and get lucky (because they can simply release at a different time). About the TA4 users being trash, this is completely true and it's quite sad, actually. I feel like me, personally, I am an actually good player especially since I don't run in and get parried by 99% of my enemies because I threw out beatdown predictably. Also, the "blockbreaking" thing on gold rectangle is really useful, since it can confirm other moves for you, which is great. Anyway, thanks for this video, Eclipse. It's almost like every other JJBA roblox game does at least semi-well, and then you have these weird damn nails, terrible moves, etc. TA4 really is good, but it needs fixes, especially a change for wormhole uppercut and the nails. Either way, I love using TA4, fun stand, very cool concept in general, and I do have the skin so I guess that makes me biased.

One thing I noticed is that ta4’s gold rectangle nail seems to work most of the time at far range. If they simply make nail shots a lesser damage no block and multiple version of it, they would aim.

Notes to tusk act 4: He actually used a lot of these in the video so UwU If you use something like a jawbreaker or beatdown and use wormhole nails at the right time they'll be forced to block or take that stun while their stand is gone, similar to SPTW they have to sit there and wait a bit, giving you time to go up and barrage them and get a boat load of damage. Constantly use wormhole nails into literally everything, you just get to hit people. Wormhole into golden rectangle, wormhole into beatdown, wormhole into nail shots. Golden rectangle is the safest option since it's just free, beatdown is kind of risky but it'll work every now and then, nail shots are just a bad option (only use them in you're up close or golden rectangle is off cooldown). Goes without being said but don't be afraid to hit people using your own shadow or love train, but do just try to bait people's counters by shooting your nail shots downwards to make them mash. Don't upgrade fingernail glide more than like once at most. Points down the drain. Your golden rectangle and nail shots both have the same cooldown so just keep that in mind. Fingernail glide is actually one of the best mobility moves in the game, but for me I can't use wormhole nails while it's active but maybe that's just me. Just try it out a few times to see if it works for you or not. Don't let people fighting you in main game get behind the railing on the main road, you can barley do anything if the try to camp you out with that. Just try to span wormhole nails to scare them out. That's all I can come up with. Make sure you spam ez.

I'm a KC(Hamon) and when I see a Tusk Act 4. It's always a free win. This is due to the fact that you can Epitaph anything in TA4's moves and go for the cheese Hamon Impale combo.

I always start off with wormhole nails before nail shots and golden rectangle nail so it actually hits because if you dump all of your nails into the wormhole they will 100% of the time block it not to mention the fact that the nails mostly freeze in mid air

The main reason I don't utilize nail glide in PvP is because my potato can't run Roblox well and it delays my screen when I move my mouse in a quick fashion. Basically it makes me unable to aim precisely while nail gliding and it just ruins the whole move for me. The only way I actually manage to chip damage while fighting my friends is using the Golden Nail move, making them ragdoll, and then using wormhole uppercut so that they don't have time to block or dash away before they get up.

Also another tip (and probably why every TA4 player doesn't utilise Fingernail Glide): Don't hold W while gliding. Just hold Z and then you can use moves. You can control your gliding direction with your mouse, you don't need WASD while gliding

In order to even get damage with Wormhole Uppercut you need to use nail bullets (and gold rectangle nail if you feel lucky), intentionally miss, use Wormhole Nails, hope they don't block, and then use what little stun time you have to use Wormhole Uppercut and even then there's a chance of it failing.

I recently re got TA4 and got the shiny variant (lucky me). But with that it reminded me of how TA4 is so bad now. Especially with my ping the nails are extremely slow (maybe its my fps). Now, most of the time unless i miss my golden rectangle, the wormhole nails are extremely bad especially how it can be cancelled (bruh). Using boxing with it is extremely broken for running coz heal + hp and defence. I get all the tree skills except the last tier or nail glide. Wormhole uppercut needs to not be dodgeable or unblockable + uncancellable. The heal gives s too (only if u get the heal). But if you use it on nail glide it'll cancel the glide. TA4 is an A+ tier stand but yes, KCR hard counters it with the zoning and epitaph into wormhole nails is you just dying. Also remember you do 9 dmg m1s which is really strong.

I mainly use uppercut if (for example) a TW uses kick barrage cause they can't cancel the move or if any heal is being used at a medium range. The move still sucks and needs to be re-done like what you said. tusk is my favourite JoJo stand as well so I hope they fix nails too

I think the reason most people don't use tusk is cause they have to play multiple steel ball run matches and be on the top 3 which takes a long time with all the hackers and squads (that's my own reason at least)

IMHO wormhole uppercut is fine with damage, you can easily follow it up after workhole nails, or some ragdoll move. The problem is that it is blockable AND dodgeable (sometimes even when the person is walking the normal speed). The main thing about it is the stand crash, as when things go right, you can barrage the shit out of the helpless Joe. Otherwise, I am really happy with the review, amazing job.

Tusk is already pretty good! The only problems that i think tusk has are the nails getting stuck and the low damage of the beatdown. If they fixed these things it would be perfect. if wormhole uppercut was unblockable it would be too op (in my opinion).

So, I used to be a TA4 Boxing main. My build consisted of being tanky, and healing with max tea time and beatdown. I just love TA4's general concept of resisting TS and ignoring reflects. It's the idea of saying 'screw you' to other people's gimmicks, and being able to constantly apply pressure with Nails if my opponent even backs up slightly, and melee assaulting the hell out of players. I think why people don't like TA4 is because it doesn't have a big op win move, rather a bunch of average moves. On top of that, you need to put in about 4x the work to get it in comparison to D4C:LT, which has the best destructive power, and a broken reflect.

Tusk act 4 is literally my favorite stand in YBA, and I think that (in interest of Uzu not ruining him somehow) he’s fine where he is. Ta4 is honestly the sole reason I still play YBA after over a year, as he’s the only stand that I seem to never get tired of. The nails are probably the only thing I actually have a problem with. The upper’s I-frames you gain when you enter the ground can be useful if you read someone’s approach, and the beatdown is entertaining for me, at least. It would be cool if he saw some love, but Uzu has a way of changing things in a way you never wanted them changed, and just making you sad. For the sake of me playing YBA at all in the future, I don’t want the ONLY stand I consistently play to be changed fundamentally or anything.

3:30 I kinda gotta disagree with this one, tusk is flipped on its head for its original purpose. Its basically a worse twau because they only worth using for m1 trades. Uppercut is a real nice mixup if you can manage to read a jawbreaker/strong punch-helping avoid block breaks.
