Geoff is a rare talent. His range is just sick. His G1 low notes are the bomb and he uses different techniques - chest, harmonic, growl etc. There are lots of great bass singers but Geoff is the king in my book.

Geoff added a verse or two from the book that weren’t used in the movie soundtrack. That’s the kind of detail that goes into his productions. The last note wasn’t a growl (he doesn’t like using that technique) but it was doubled to get that sound he wanted.

I know that Geoff uses plugins at times for the instrumentals. He normally gives the information in the credits below the title. i should point out that the patrons listed are only the higher paying ones, there are many more who give less. Being credited is a perk of being one of the higher paying patrons. :)

First super low note: subharmonic G1. Second super low note: full chest voice G1. Last super low note: growl G1. So same note, but with three different techniques. And yes, Geoff does play the instrumentals himself, but he uses plugins on his keyboard to simulate the instruments used. Geoff lists all the people involved in the making of his music/video in the credits of his videos. This remains my favorite of all his solo work. It’s just so soothing, ironic since they’re planning on going to tackle a monster. As others have mentioned it is filmed at PattyCake Productions studio. The beatboxer for VoicePlay, Layne Stein and the prior baritone for VoicePlay, Tony Wakim co-own the studio. This particular set is used in their original productions called Villains Lair (all the Disney villains trying to get back into power.) It was also used in the fairly recent release by VoicePlay of Dragonborn comes/Skyrim from the video game. Geoff has used it before as well, for his Monster Mash which came out last Halloween. Because I pretty much fanatically watch all of them, I start to recognize props and features. (A girl’s got to have a hobby🤣) Thanks for covering this one Yuri. It’s simply beautiful.
