This would make Jimmy Page smile....To sing and play that rythm guitar part at all is cool. To do it near perfectly is beyond belief. The guitar harmonies are beautiful . This song has finesse and power...it starts bare and builds...a masterpiece... Great tribute to Zep and this great tune...Best cover I think I have ever heard

The lead singer is Brody Dolyniuk, the best classic rock singer impressionist I have ever heard. His Roger Daltry, Klause Meine, Freddie Mercury, Elton John, Bradly Delp and of course his Robert Plant are all excellent. He captures every nuance and character of their voice, right down to accent and pronunciation. I think that Geddy Lee is the only singer he can’t quite nail. It’s very good, but not perfect enough to fool anyone. Brody is so good, he was hired in to do all of the lead vocals for both Rock Band and Guitar Hero video games. I was shocked to learn that. He put recording of some of those songs on his KZbin page, otherwise I thought it was the original artists singing on all of those tracks? That’s how good they are. I think that most people thought it was the original singers? Brody is irreplaceable as the lead singer for YNRB. I did see some more recent videos of the Yellow Brick Road Band and someone else was lead singer. Though he sang good, he didn’t quite sound like the original artists like Brody did. That’s what made the YNRB so special.

I'm honored to hear you young guys do the music of my generation. I'm extreme-o-freakinly entertained listening to all your individual parts. Geez! Beautiful job vocalist! Back phrasing the way Plant did. Very smoothly moving back and forth in vox range, not just head to chest, but very nicely like Plant's scream to croon thing. Beautiful job bass guitar! Just plain silky, the way we're used to hearing the JPJ version. Obviously an essential component to this song. Beautiful job everybody! Guitars do the Gib - Fend duet. Drummer pulls us in with the syncopated stumble hits in the trading measure chorus'. All that and it's recorded live, in a bar, under what's surely less than ideal audio conditions. Still it sounds just great. Lots of really good practice and transcribing went on for this gig. Nice job all. Thanks!

Its a good approximation. When compared to LZ at the O2 when LZ were much older all the parts are paired down. The core of the base is their but JPJ base playing for example is far more deep and becomes almost like the lead guitar at times. It just shows when played back to back just how LZ had so much more musicianship, feeling and energy. They are on a completely different level.
