Considering how much Batman was mourning Joker in the DLC for Arkham City, I just know he cried in the Batcave for like three hours once he had to lock Joker away for good. Overall, I think Arkham Knight is a solid game. Not as good as City. Too much Batmobile. The DLC's for this game are WAY too short except for a few of them(10-15 minutes of paid DLC is crazy)

I think you should also watch the Catwoman cutscenes if you not gonna do the missions (you do not need to colledlct Riddler trophies to save her, only do the missions, the trophies are required to actually lock the mf up). The remaining DLC are really cool too, Season of Infamy is integrated into the main game (concluding Mr. Freeze, Ra'as al ghul, Killer Croc and Mad Hatter's stories), Harley Quinn prequel mission and I think Nightwing's was too, and the Batgirl major DLC, obvioulsy before Joker cripled her. Also, you could have found Barbara's Batgirl suit hidden in the clock tower, since the beginning of the game if you just hacked once

I actually believe that Arkham Knight is greater than City. The combat system became better and much more interesting, adding new features and enemies was done so well that I believe that City can't really compare to this. The story is...meh, but I don't think we actually had something better than this in City. Side missions and especially Riddler puzzles are really great, including those from the DLC. And challenges are the best that we have in the series. The game even has more playable characters than ever before. Many people believe that story sections with Batmobile are bad, but...well, it's kinda hard for me understand this point of critique. It doesn't make this game bad, it just makes it unique in its own way. And it is possible to enjoy this, especially if you check out some races.

I understand that many people do not want to play these parts of game and are disappointed with the fact that we didn't get instead anything compared to the boss fights of Origins, but... but otherwise, without Batmobile it would be just the same Arkham City. If you want to fight, you still have a lot of challenges, but I think that Batmoblie really had to be included to keep things fresh.

at the time for people to go from arkham orgins which arguably has the best boss fights in all the arkham games to this game with 80% of missions including a tank battle i could see why people complained about it. for my personal opinion theres just an unnecessary amount of tank battles with the car, like the deathstroke boss fight is genuinely a spit in the face of the deathstroke fight from orgins. not to mention the cloudburst tank mission is pretty boring overall because its just a stealthy tank mission where you could easily get one shot. the best addition from the batmobile is mostly the mobility and race track missions imo
