My thoughts on why everyone was rude. I think that while Yoko definitely outright possessed some people (the Yakuza for example) maybe she was subtly possessing the customers to be rude in an attempt to get our character to just be like, "screw this job, I don't have to be treated like this!" I think Yoko was aware that the landlord would try what he did. I could be wrong but it felt like the rudeness got progressively worse as the days passed and I think that was because Yoko was panicking in hopes she could get us out before 24? Just my thoughts, could totally be wrong!

It’s interesting that the story is different than the first version. Spoilers for first version of the game: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The landlord was just a henchman to the monk and he just brought the girls for the sacrifice, he even didn’t wanna sacrifice some cause he thought they were pretty and thought it was a shame 💀. The monk was the evil mastermind sacrificing girls for a demon or something. Though the first version was more confusing/unclear tbh. But this one ig has the landlord be the main villain and the monk just helping? Also the characters the player uses are two girls, one is a sister that worked at the bathhouse and died. The second sister being the main character that the player plays, which goes to the bathhouse to find out what happened after her sister is missing. Apparently in total there’s supposed to be a sacrifice of 3 girls? The first was locked up and impregnated by the monk?? 2nd was first sister that was killed, and 3rd was the mc. Though there was no connection between mother and child being the mc or something. Honestly the first storyline was vague/confusing since not everything was clearly explained and just implied with some info actually written out. Personally I think the scares were better in the first version but storyline could be all mixed up. This one is detailed and made you more busy with the tasks with a simple storyline. It’s all based on preference.

pretty sure the first one had nothing to do with this one, because this one is called restored edition, i think the first one is confusing for a lot of people then the dev restore it and make the story better

Haven’t finished watching but so far I’d have to disagree with you on the graphics, there’s so much detail now. And the people/characters in the game are more detailed. They no longer look like smooth models with cut out paper faces lmao
