One would think that one of the qualifications for being a commentator for feature matches is having KNOWLEDGE of the decks being played!...smh

I think if we put you in the same spot your commentating moments will be.... He played a card, pass turn, he countered, he attacks, almost game, oh a comeback gg next game. Learn your place before you give a bad critic about a profession you know nothing about. Yugioh commentators need cards knowledge of course but if you think that's the only requirement then you are oblivious to what is going on completely.

Learn my place? Lol...I am perfectly in my PLACE to criticise the commentary of this match if it isn't good. I don't know why you think people wouldn't be rubbed the wrong way when they here simple mistakes by commentators. Also, I never said I would do a better job commentating, so you bringing up that subject is completely irrelevant to me. Every competitive tournament (card games, sports, video games, etc.) that has commentary is going to have some form of criticism if the spectator has issues with said commentary.

Leonardo Dabestio Your comment is that a requirement is having knowledge of the decks meaning meta game of course, but one thing you dont know is the other requirements. Like I mention before whats the point of having a know it all yugioh as a spokesman when his social skills are as bad as your critics. Do you think they just grab the first dumbasses talking smarts about yugioh to do this job? You are way off the truth, they obviuously go trough a interview that probably thousands went for and probably have some tests if they pass the interviews so they may not be the most knowledgeable about the game but they had the most talent/skill/knowledge and social ability to qualify for this job over a smart mouth like yourself. And my comment is completely relevant just for the fact that if your going to give a critic about the job (not yugioh) you have to at least know something about it first and saying that this commentators do a bad job cause they tried to play psychic calling the best plays or maybe forgeting 1 card's name cause is easy to know all 7000+ cards of course shows how little you know about any kind of public speaking skills.

Again, you keeping referring to the other job requirements in match commentary. Do I have to crop a picture next to my comments to help you understand that I can't do their job better than them lol? (I know I can't actually do that) I just get bothered by small errors like incorrect discriptions of cards, which there were quite a few. That's just the knowledge phase of commentary. I'm sure their public speaking skills are above my own, so there is no reason to debate that. You're defending their mistakes from this video a little too seriously. People make mistakes everyday, and it's more likely to happen when you're commentating at a ycs.

Leonardo Dabestio So if us people make mistakes daily specially on a stressfull enviroment like life commenting on big events and there are 7k+ cards with different and similar names plus small effects and huge textbook crazy effects and yet you are saying they are lacking on knowledge for those human mistakes in those 7k+ card names and effects. You may think im taking too serious defending them and I think you expect 100% perfection in an impossible to perfect every time in every game subject.

people like this are making qliphort look bad. such a brainless playing style. he could have just searched monolith in game 3, tribute summoned stealth, return scout, search saqlifice. easy win. instead he summons a useless towers against infernoids, a deck that has easy outs to it and doesnt care about the discarding effect... i'm glad that he lost. didnt deserve a win.

your first sentence doesnt make any sense. yes, i cant control him, doesnt change that he's stupid. and yes, i make mistakes, but come on, it is foreseeable that investing all resources into towers against an infernoid deck is a terrible decision. especially when you'd have such an obvious and great play... my conclusion is just that he is bad at the game and got to his record (3-1 it was so bofore that game i think) by autowins with towers. sad actually.

because he knows what his opponent is playing, he should know towers isnt giving him any advantage if he discards an infernoid. so basically he summons towers, which doesnt do shit, and locks himself out of follow-up plays, if the opponent has an out for scout, which he very likely has. why not just set up your own board with a double scout search and 2 draws from monolith? easy win that way.

Is like over 7k cards in a 3 weekend non stop matches, I think one or two mistakes is ok in commenting in such tournaments. Nobody is perfect and stop been a jelly moron from mommy home and stop giving bad critics that are not listened and needed.

For any commentated sport or event, they have venterans of the game or at very least people who know wtf they are on about. Thhey barely had a clue what was going on, this is a MASSIVE event and the coverage was very poor on the commentary part. Oh and congradulations keyboard warrior it only took you nearly 9 months after I posted my orginal comment to find this needle in a haystack of comment and to try and provoke me, clearly you have nothing better to do...
