Ustad Hamid Ali sb is a great and clearly does not try to imitate Ustad Amanat Ali sb. In this performance, the tabla player is grossly below par and is too clumsy and intrusive, his tonal quality also leaves a lot to be desired. This is a ghazal and the tabla needed to be soft, sweet, and subtle; not like a _tappa_ or folk song.
