Thanks for your feedback Peggy! We found that the kids didn't mind the hats once we got them to drink a bit of rum, although that's when the fighting begun. Had to duck for cover and wait 'til they started to doze off before we could shoot the damned thing. But them comments, the director of the video had us put in some text from an old bedtime story about pirates. But none of us can read, so we figured they weren't that important anyway, and made sure he'd keep'em short.

Edward Teach - Blackbeard, Calico Jack Rackham, William "Captain" Kidd, Henry Every, Black Sam Bellamy and even Henry Morgan. Yet none inspire fear so much as this band of fierce buccaneers. Actually, strangely enough, they're right in using "Ye". I'm not quite sure of the time period, but likely a couple of centuries ago, when printing was first established, the letter "y" was used in place of "th" to save on costs. That's why shops that want to convey an old-timey feel use "Ye Olde...". At least that's what I read somewhere, I could be wrong. If anyone feels the need to correct me please feel free to do so.
