Wow Alexa, finally you reacted on my most fav song from Coke Studio Season 14. I can’t believe it’s taken this long but I’m glad that you finally got to it. I have to tell you that I love your impeccable grasp on getting the real feels from a song and actually guessing the artists correctly as well. Your insights are precious especially since they are coming from someone who doesn’t know this language. So kudos to you for it. I couldn’t help but check out your video at the first glance I saw it in my subscriptions. So Karakoram is the band with the awesome vocalist Sherry Khattak (whose voice you loved), the amazing drummer Bilawal (the guy with the awesome, natural curls that every girl wishes to have hehe), and the great guitarists Zain, Annan and Omair. Then you had the 2 rappers with the crazy flow. The shorter height guy is Talha Anjum who is the same guy you saw as part of his duo group Young Stunners in the song Phir Milenge. While the other rapper who was mixing both English and Urdu together in his rap is Faris Shafi. You will see another good song of his with his sister Meesha Shafi in Muaziz Saarif (it’s another Season 14 song). Crazy talent in that family because their mom is a famous Pakistani actress too. Fun fact: Karakoram was formed after Nescafé Basement days. Xulfi who is the music producer of Season 14 and one of the reasons behind its success actually created Nescafé Basement earlier. It was again a basement studio themed music show highlighting mixing of mostly older and some new songs by mostly underground, emerging new artists. They have a v famous song known as “Bol Hu” with million views + on KZbin. You will notice that Karakoram’s lead vocalist and drummer and the guitarist too was a part of that song. Basically, Xulfi brought all these emerging new young talent together through that show and then it resulted in creation of magic that later transcended into Coke Studio 14. These guys have not only done their songs but helped create magic in other Season 14 songs too. Anyhow, that was it. Karakoram has had many awesome songs before like Kyun, Fanaa, Awaaz, Raasta, etc. (In case you would like to check them out later on..)😊 P.S. that scream/growl in the end lasted for 13 seconds btw 🤘😊. P.S.S. It’s very easy for us Pakistanis to switch in between languages you know. It’s more like second nature to us now especially for the current generations. So we are found speaking at home in both English/Urdu languages usually and intermixing them comes naturally to us 😊 Please do react on Phir Milenge (the farewell song of this season where you will see Talha Anjum back again with his duo partner Talha Younus - both rappers and their group is called Young Stunners) along with the awesome Faisal Kapadia who is a legend. I can guarantee you that you will fall in love with the song and his voice especially 👍

I am fully graduated so no longer a student, thanks for thinking I’m still young enough for that though haha. I don’t actually watch many European movies and have yet to watch a film from Africa. I watch a few Japanese and Korean films here and there but I don’t like comparing films from different places because films often reflect their countries respective cultures and therefore have different purposes/reasonings for choices and are hard to fairly compare, especially without a lot of knowledge about the respective cultures. I do have an Indonesian film trailer reaction coming later this week though that hopefully you’ll enjoy
