I've actually had a theory ever since the impel down ark that the rumble ball causes chopper to temporarily awaken. His appearance, size, and strength is similar to the awakened guards of the prison but since its temporary and not a true awakening he doesn't get the increased stamina and healing a true awakened zoan user gets, which is why using his monster point exhausts him so much. His normal body can't produce the energy necessary to sustain that form properly.

I don't think law will ever use it. I believe it exists to justify imu being from the void century. Nothing more. Luffy isn't afraid of death and wouldn't sacrifice a friend no matter what. I could see it being used in the endgame for another damsel in distress scenario where imu has law captured and is trying to get vivi so he can do the surgery on her so he can have an immortal companion that has the same face as nefertari d lilly. He has to be obsessed with her to have a painting that huge to look at everyday for 800 years. This is the most logical theory in my opinion based on the information we have. The only thing that I can think of to contradict this theory is the fact that law is the only character that was not a part of the story oda had originally written. The supernovas were added as filler to extend the story. That's just my theory tho

I wonder if Eustass Kid and Enel can replicate each other's abilities after mastering their devil fruit awakenings. Magnetism and Electricity go hand and hand in irl. However, this is anime, and realism can sometimes be thrown out the window. well in theory they could but enel would have the upper hand here. Since a conductor automatically becomes a magnet and the way Eustass kid uses the magnetism mostly to attract just everything magnetic this would be way easier to replicate for enel who can output and precisely control huge voltages of electricity. Eustass kid however would have a much harder time to use magnetism and conductors as a generator and create the high voltages of electricity enel uses and they exert the precise control over it. But to some extent yea they could. And Enel basically has shown that the also can do what that Gold devil fruit user can do.

Pretty sure, Robin also awakened her fruit, because in her combat with black maria she used a giant variation of her with multiple limbs, and i though oh that's cool, but it's still like her usual ability. Then she actually changed form into a demon, and it took damage meaning it was the main body, sprouted limbs, and somewhat appeared to be using armament Haki (probably not, but looked like it) all considered giving her a notable change in her ability and needing to rest after using it, same as awakening abilities used for those using them for the first times.

I think it would have been good to mention that in Luffy's awaken form, he can even touch and use things that are intangible such as lightning, you made his devil fruit awakening more akin to his rubber properties, which technically are like a psuedo placebo effect because he was told his fruit is the rubber rubber fruit, not knowing it's a Mythical Zoan, based upon a mythical God. I would say Luffy true Awakening is more akin to toon force than rubber because he can do anything his imagination can conjure, it's just a bit more rubber now because he doesn't know the true name of the fruit. He still thinks it's rubber.

Some examples of this are Greenbull (Alters the enviroment around him with his devil fruit), Akoiji and Akainu (Both altered environments eg. while I disagree with a lot of things on this list, that one point does make sense imo. Even though Luffy is not yet used to his awakened powers, and will surely become much stronger in the next arc, he was already strong enough to beat Kaido with his untrained awakening. None of the other characters, who are not yet used to their awakening powers, would be able to do such a feat. The thing is, that Luffy's Devil Fruit is just OP, and as this video ranks the powers of the avakened devils fruit users (aka the user + the devil fruit + the awakening together).

I think the character is overhyped and gear 5 literally broke the fucking internet, i think luffy is cool but it just feels gear 5 is just a second devil fruit idea because he is completely different. yes i have reason to believe gear 5 is a slapped label for a second devil fruit to compete with blackbeard which is what i have read people wanted was a 2nd df. Even though I don't think Doflamingo and Katakuri at the at the same level, I think at Katakuri is actually stronger, I would actually Katakuri in the B tier because I definitely think that Lucci would defeat him in the battle, probably mid diff. If it's based upon how helpful or how strong The Awakening ability is, I would definitely think that Doflamingo's awakening is more offensively stronger (capability), it's just that Doflamingo isn't as strong to make thr attacks be that potent. Sharp attacks are always more lethal, and the fact the attacks are sharp and can be imbued with armament haki, is really something else.

Katakuri folds lucci. He’s a big zoan type. He’d get clapped quickly. Incase you are forgetting luffy never beat katakuri he is basically still undefeated. He only lost because he stab himself right through the stomach. On top of that this was whole cake island katakuri. If you take current katakuri who lost his first battle he’s definitely gotten stronger. No way i see katakuri staying the same level. Especially with pudding getting kidnapped. Katakuri is much stronger now and i even argue current katakuri can take on zoro and sanji in a 1v1
