i think you're underestimating Mitsuri as both a hashira and a demon. I also think Shinobu specifically would see the greatest increase in strength from becoming a demon. She and Tamayo were able to create poisons that could substantially weaken Muzan and very nearly kill Douma. If her blood demon art could create something even half that potent no human would survive it.

Honestly, I see all of the Demon Hashira at least being Uppermoon 6 level from Mitsuru and above, though I can generally agree with their placements when these hypothetical demons are forced to fight each other (an example is that I would argue that Shinobu here would be more effective against Demon Slayer’s than Demon Giyu, but she would have a tougher time against other demons since she wouldn’t focus on poisons that are effective against her fellow demons). Also, if you are willing to do so, I would enjoy seeing your hypothetical versions of the lower and upper moons as Hashira and how they would compare against the original Hashira’s that we know.

I would have put Shinobu higher because her poison is strong, one slash from her and her enemy gets melted like ice cream, also because of her speed when she was a Hashira, her speed was so strong that it was complemented by Douma himself, she would also have the ability to control things like Mitsuri but she controls insects, and we all know shes smart so her iq is pretty good in battle and in a lab, making her the smartest uppermoon/lowermoon, her demon art is powerful judging on her skills when she was a human, like the part where she got eaten by Douma and Douma was so weak from eating her, he couldn't even regenerate faster like the rest of the Uppermoons, she would also have that ability, but for her demon form, she releases a gas of poison that melts the skin like acid, I picture her as a demon, also mentioned from the video, she would also have a pair of wings making her not only fast on land but air too, making her one of the hardest demons to kill. that she would probably have a pretty gross way of killing someone.

I actually think Uzui would be one of the strongest of the demon-turned Hashira; he's already the fastest Hashira, the 2nd strongest physically behind Gyomei and quite intelligent by himself as he knows his body's limits and shows understanding that he would have easily died if he hadn't stopped his heart during the Gyuutaro and Daki fight, all of these would be boosted with him as a demon, allowing him to move at speeds possibly too high for anyone to keep up with him and have strength even above Gyomei. Secondly, Sound breathing is shown to be quite versatile and powerful; of the 3 forms we know of, it has a sheer force option for when he would want to demolish an entire area or group of slayers in Roar, it has a rapid defensive/offensive option in Constant Resounding Slashes and has an amazing rushdown option in String Performance. Thirdly, he is one of the most skilled of the Hashira, having undergone shinobu training and being one of 2 survivors, having been the first to defeat an upper rank demon AND being able to both echolocate and use the musical score technique, he would have no shortage of strategies to defeat anyone in his path. Also, I think his blood demon art might come in the form of using sound as a projectile, creating sonic booms or projectiles out of the vibration energy of sound, similar to Akaza's punches through the air, allowing him to fight from all ranges and kill low level slayers before they can even make contact with him. idk prolly biased tho bc he's my favourite character in KnY.

After the sword swift village arc, muzan sees nezuko conquer the sun however he's running low on demons as most of them are dead, so with temporary replacements at hand he goes out by nightfall and slowly captures the demon slayers one by one as they rest, he however avoids tanjiro and his team to not get caught in cutting range of the sun breather. Meanwhile while he's doing that in the infinity castle nakime, akaza, doma, and kokushibo are hard at work to pin down the demon slayers, by first kokushibo dueling them then pinning them with akaza's hands before doma freeze their hands and feet so they can't run and nakime putting them in one of the many rooms of the castle which act like holding cells, muzan finally returns with a beat up gyomie and they did the same process as before. After that they forcefully turn them to demons and kokushibo preparing if any turn rouge, when the blood settles the new moons come out. Muzan proceeds to make a few adjustments by putting some in lower moon spots and by other the demon line up now consists of (and in ranking), mitsuri, shinobu, tengen, obanai, nakime, giyu, muichiro (special treatment from kokushibo), sanemi, gyomei, akaza, doma, and kokushibo. Since this is after sword Smith village, rengguko is dead so he can't join so that's why nakime is here, tengen was here tho because he's just retired. Now on the demon slayer side things will be looking down, there's only tanjiro, nezuko, zenitsu, and inosuke leaved, they could potentially get the remaining butterfly mansion members to join but that's about it, it's outnumbered and outmatched

I think mitsuri was placed quite lower than expected. Due to her agility and flexibility, she is arguably upper moon 6 lower moon 1. Tengen didnt impress me enough to be over mitsuri. Shinobu should be actually high in the list due to her poison but again she will have to replace rengoku or giyuu for that to happen which wouldn't make sense.

I got a random plot for you guys. Imagine if the remaining Hashira decided to turn into demons so they can vow to protect humanity forever (they all agree) and every 100 years they find the strongest hashira of that generation and turn him/her into a demon to add to their numbers. A spin off show goes a few thousand years into the future and the original hashira from the original show, one by one went mad from being demons so long and forgetting their human selves slowly - ultimately they decide to make a new law where they have to kill themselves with honor (like they did in ancient Japan) after they’ve lived 100,000 years so they don’t lose touch with their human side and turn evil, as they saw some new generation hashira demons acting more selfish and tempted to eat humans (these new age hashira demons weren’t around to experience Muzan etc so they don’t have the same hatred and fear for demons as the original tanjiro, sanemi, zinetsu, inosuke etc). Fast forward a thousand years, tanjiro and the original hashira has reached their 100,000 year mark and it’s a huge event/funeral for these men that defeated Muzan and changed the course of history. After their death, the group of Hashira fight amongst eachother because the new protagonist was chosen to be the new leader which his values aligned with tanjros, and also forbids humans ever being eaten by Hashira as well as all Hashira needing to take their life when they reach 100,000. Half of the Hashira don’t like this and want the strongest hashira (main antagonist) to be their leader as he believes they’re too powerful and they need to restore the balance of good and evil to keep the world in check, his dream is to create another Muzan and create an army of demons so the Hashira basically have something to do and people to protect (remember these Hashira never experienced real battle so they are bored beyond belief), the antagonist and his followers have been secretly feeding on prisoners (humans) over the last 4,000 years because they’ve given into temptation and like the extra power it gives and they successfully branch out from Japan and create their own kingdom/dynasty. They’ve found a way to harvest the blue lily and created an army of Muzans and demons in a distant land and hence the story starts. A world war of Good Hashira demons protecting Humans from these new demons/Muzans as well as having to kill these Hashira demons that disobeyed and started this all.

I believe all the Hashira would be Upper Moon level as a Demon. The current Hashira have all fought upper moons and all of them put a good challenge and some of them even won. So I think from that alone they are automatically stronger than Lower Moon Demons. So some of them being put in Lower Moon level kinda feels more like they became weaker as a Demon.

I think the blood demon art that giyu has is very op and a little underwhelming at the same time. I think his art could be similar to evil natural water from one punch man. Being able move a around as a body of water to keep his neck from being cut and do that same thing to avoid and catch attacks. He would also be able change his sword into anything like Shinobu and her blood demon art. Finally, he would be able to take any shape he wants and even make duplicates of himself since water can take pretty much any shape and water can split off and be uninjured. I hope this made sense.

Giyu got his sword broken by upper moon 3 akaza aka a WEAKER DEMON to upper moon 1 but when kokushibo tried it to sanemi not only did sanemi prevent his blade from being broken but he also was able to push kokoshibo back 2. Kokushibo called sanemi and gyomei the strongest among the pillars 3. When fighting muzan, giyu lost his arm when he got knocked away vs sanemi didn’t lose anything but just got knocked away 4. It’s stated that since sanemi is more aggressive naturally that makes his wind breathing and fighting skills more skilled compared to others except gyomei 5. Giyu passed out after upper moon 3 decided to let himself die but when sanemi passed out against kokushibo even after he died, sanemi was still fighting WHILE UNCONSCIOUS So yeah nah, sanemi is stronger not equal
