I've always wanted to play Billy, but he's been just too difficult for me. This rework interests me in him more, plus will make him easier to get into trying. Such excitement! Wow! 😊 Edit/Update: Holy moly, WAY easier not having to even think about overheat. He's so much fun now!

Because he's so much faster make sure you put boots on so you can learn to curve because especially when overdrive or whatever your sprinting faster Thana huntress hatchet or a nurses blink his skill gap just rose 50x higher

@@latrodectahespara2728 As a counter point, Nurse for example has been THE killer that has bottlenecked the whole game, and viewed as needing nerfs by the community, yet only small nerfs has been done and those usually came together with buffs to it. The other mentioned killers are essentially the worst in the game (for varying reasons), and has been for many years now. Most in the community that views the game objectively would agree that those need buffs, yet that has not been done by BHVR. Another point would be the Billy nerf not too long ago (the one nerfing him further because reasons that even the one writing the patch notes could not answer for). With this in mind, I would say that the balancing and/or nerfing in this game seems to be much more due to a roll of a dice, than the devs listening to the community.

@@GenericUserName443 Right, that's what I kinda thought, but I didn't want to assume. So! The big flaw in reasoning here is largely a misunderstanding of what "the community" is. There's no monolith, or agreed-upon _specific_ take, that you can fairly or even somewhat say "the community" agrees on-- when game developers "listen to the community", it doesn't mean "do the one specific thing that whoever's speaking wants", it means taking into account the entirety of the feedback they get across multiple formats, weighing them all for validity, and then weighing them against the game's internal plans and requirements. Even your examples _aren't_ objectively true for all the community, they're just somewhat more popular than some other opinions. There's also the smaller but still potent misunderstanding that all changes which come to a game must be things "the community wants", which even disregarding the first point, just isn't true. Adding in the first point, it's not even _possible._ Basically, "listening to the community" doesn't mean what people who get mad about it _think_ it means.

Im just saying that watching someone who's whole life revolves around this game play an update isn't a realistic representation of what you will face. I miss playing against Billy, if the do make changes, I think either reduce the general speed buff or add a "cooldown" after the overcharge that sets sprint speed at the current speed (pre-buff).

It's an addon for hillbilly called the LoPro chains. It allows him to continue his chainsaw charge after breaking a pallet/breakable wall. There are some billy mains that can do insane shit with that addon.

Honestly, I hope they don't nerf Billy from this state. He's super strong in this state, but still definitely weaker than the top tiers. His counter-play is still more or less the same, he can just punish mistakes easier now with overdrive. If ANYTHING, just some minor tweaks to his cooldown after a miss and a slight increase in the time it takes to get overdrive.
