Maybe it is just a coincidence, but the trade for Jake Slaughter was announced within a half hour of Polanco being removed for a hamstring issue. I'm sure it was mainly just a trade to get some kind of return for Tyson Miller being DFA'd, but it does seem like an interesting 2B option if Polanco misses time

The Ms always seem to lack the huge athletic types with big time power, good defense, and speed on the bases. Obviously there's Julio but Teo didnt really work out. Kelenic didn't work out. Haniger is, well, Haniger. Peete and Farmelo are years away. I was really excited about Raley and really disappointed with how his season started. Now I'm pumped again. Im a big fan of the guy. You need need big dudes who can hit for power and run.
