This video really made me think a lot about disabled people, even if that wasn't the original intent. this is a really good example of how it is to live life as a disabled person, mental or physical. Normally we wouldn't see a 1 block jump as literally anything, we do them all the time but to a disabled person that can be a lot harder to deal with.

There's a dude 2 years ago that did a challenge in minecraft and he had like 4 disabilities. His skin couldn't handle armor so he couldn't wear one. His ACL tore so he can't jump now, he don't even got a prosthetic leg for it. He got a giant dump truck so he couldn't sneak. And the worst part, his hands are fragile and can't left-click.

Personally, I would go the opposite way. Auto-jumping is obviously banned, since it is no *JUMP* challenge, but I would accept things like swimming up in water (as long as you don't jump out of water) and opening elytra if you walk off a platform, because it's not the "don't press the jump *button* challenge". The spirit of the challenge is no jump actions and those aren't jump actions, they're just bound to the same key for convenience in normal gameplay.

I came to watch directly after the video where he admits to cheating, bc i respect his honesty so much. I reaply repate to just thinking "Damn I should just cut this corner, break this rule, cheat, etc" and I unfortunately have given in at times when the thing needed done and i just could not keep trying. And it feels horrible every time, but its so shameful to admit to a mistake, and that can be so painful that the very idea triggers panic. Its not okay, but its human. Accountability isn't about never making mistakes, its about admitting to the mistake, doing what you can to rectify it/give restitution to any victims, understanding why the mistake were made, and taking the steps to prevent the mistake from ever happening again, all things Yeah Jared did o7

He… he lied… I’m devastated. What is even the point of living now? Why would I want to live in a world where Jaron says he’s in hardcore and then he just respawns?
