Not to be serious on a funny-ha-ha video, but can we appreciate that this is a quick and simplified view into the experience of someone with a disability? I was thinking specifically wheel-chair users, but it’s interesting seeing someone deal w/ similar issues (places being high up, inaccessible, etc,) in Minecraft

This video really made me think a lot about disabled people, even if that wasn't the original intent. this is a really good example of how it is to live life as a disabled person, mental or physical. Normally we wouldn't see a 1 block jump as literally anything, we do them all the time but to a disabled person that can be a lot harder to deal with.

There's a dude 2 years ago that did a challenge in minecraft and he had like 4 disabilities. His skin couldn't handle armor so he couldn't wear one. His ACL tore so he can't jump now, he don't even got a prosthetic leg for it. He got a giant dump truck so he couldn't sneak. And the worst part, his hands are fragile and can't left-click.

Personally, I would go the opposite way. Auto-jumping is obviously banned, since it is no *JUMP* challenge, but I would accept things like swimming up in water (as long as you don't jump out of water) and opening elytra if you walk off a platform, because it's not the "don't press the jump *button* challenge". The spirit of the challenge is no jump actions and those aren't jump actions, they're just bound to the same key for convenience in normal gameplay.

If you ever go insane enough to try this again, I recommend adding a mule to your collection of steeds. While donkeys are normally slower than horses, breeding one with a good horse can counteract that. Mules are basically living shulker boxes; the carrying capacity of donkeys with the boosted stats of whatever horse was used to breed them. I have a mule that 'reincarnates' with my character into every new world, and I don't know what I'd do without her. One thing to note is that mules, like donkeys, can't wear armor bc the saddlebags take up that inventory spot (and even if you try not giving them saddlebags, they still can't take armor), so you have to be a bit more mindful of fall damage and carry a bit more healing items on you. But even though no armor sounds like a massive vulnerability, you can keep a mule pretty safe as long as you're careful. I've only lost my mule once, and it was to powder snow halfway through a long expedition where my healing supplies were already depleted; she took damage faster than I could heal her or dig her out.
