I brought our company Yealink T21EP2 phone to use at home. My company is no longer using this phone, so I thought I could use it as a landline phone connected to my Wi-Fi.Can you please advise me on how to activate it and what instructions I should follow to keep it hidden from my company? Thanks!

you may have the DND or Do No Disturb button on the phone enabled in error.

Hi that was possibly the best demonstration on you tube and easy to understand thank you so much. I have just gone with a new company for my VoIP system and they remotely set me up and I had to reset the phone and now It says not registered. I don't want to call them again can I somehow, get the sip code and pass word my self.? Thankyou

I am strange to voip or ip phones, and Yealink is no exception. We bought the Yealink CP860 Conference Phone for the purpose of making international conference call or call any mobile phone number. How can my company use this phone to make calls on any GSM or mobile phone number? We will appreciate your quick response. Thanks

you need a SIP provider otherwise you will not be able to do anything

Please please please help me. I have a T21PE2, and I realize I need to plug it in to an ethernet port, but my wifi router is on the other side of my house, I bought an iogear GWU637 bridge so I don't have to plug it into my router. Now my phone just blinks "Obtaining IP address" and I don't know where to go from here, could you please help?

Why not take your phone to the router, plug it in there to make sure it works, then take it back to where you want it for the future? If no IP is assigned to the phone you can do nothing. The IP address will come from the router so your bridge does not seem to be working.

This process is only applicable to a FREEPBX server, in this case, one that is in the Cloud. If you are connecting direct to a SIP provider then you need to request the credentials from them for user login and password, these values are placed in the phone set up to connect to the service.
