Nice run. Has anyone ever tried mechanical lubricators or injectors on 7/8 steam? They are used sometimes on 3.5" gauge

I have built a 3.5" gauge also and used the smallest available injector... my guess is that if you tried fitting one to a 7/8ths scale then it would instantly "kill" the boiler pressure given the small volume of these boilers and then knock itself off. As for mechanical lubricators, technically it can be done but my guess, again, is that it would deliver way way way too much oil. These locos only need the smallest (minuscule) amount of oil.
