As a Marine, I have a definite favorite as far as aircraft goes. That would be the F4U Corsair. Even though I’m just a grunt, we all get taught Marine Corps history and we all recognize those that provide us CAS. And I remember seeing the show about the Black Sheep Squadron. That’s what made me like that plane in the first place. As far as models go though, I find things I love about every build that you do. From the modern planes to the WW2 era planes, your builds look incredible! It’s impossible to pick a favorite, though I love the 47 in flight just after the drop. I would’ve called that one “30 seconds after the green light”…😅. I look forward to seeing what’s in store for 2025! This year has been a real privilege to watch. 👍

Hi Brett. There are some truely gorgeous models you have built. The in flight C-47 I like a lot. I am thinking of trying the spinning props thing myself , I will have to watch the video. But for me its the B-1 Bone. You have done a spectacular job on this one and it is desefving of the trophies that it won for you , well done. Hi Brett, a truly stunning set of models, the B1 was just incredible BUT as I may have mentioned before, I'm a sucker for C47s and that "in flight" one was just the ticket. The F-86 in the Honduras air force (the Academy one) is definitely my favourite of this year. The blue on it really stick out, and you managed to make it interesting. Slightly late Merry Christmas Brett, and a Happy new year with a lot of modelling!

Eduard's FW. 190 are the best on the market in 1/72 and 1/48. Their Bf. 109 series are awful due to their shape, sizes and details inaccuracy.

Bf. 109E is the same, old-tooled from 2003 (can be wrong), the last issue correction for Bf. 109F & G was in 2014 and it was not successful: they still don't match with Tokihiro Horikoshi's drawings which are believed the best in the world on the field of detail and accuracy (proven with photos comparison). So the best Bf. 109F & G from accuracy point of view are Tamiya, Hasegawa (the best match), Zvezda and UM (UniModels, Ukraine, short run) ones.

Your 1/48 Macchi C.202 in the UK would not have won gold with it due to your mottling due to the blur overspray than doing it free hand, the judge must have seen your video.
