Waylon is the best stud colt I’ve ever seen at leading. Ears perked and flipping back listening to you talk, walking right beside you and making sure not to walk in front, and even turning his head into you to ask for direction. Such a good boy!!

Always fun when you realise 'ah crap we didn't get around to baby baths' and now first bath is when they're too bloody big to stand over and tell off. We bought a lovely 3yo welsh pony who was very friendly but basically unhandled(not fully disclosed the extent until after we paid and he was on a truck to us) that was a fun challenge.

If it helps we have a chocolate Labrador who HATES water. She’s built for water with her double coat, webbed paws and tail like a rudder but nope, nope, nope. She hates the rain and needs an umbrella to go to the bathroom, she hates her little pool, she hates the regular pool she will only go in the water at the beach to try to pull our youngest son out when he’s swimming or on his boogie board. I’ve learned to make sure he has a rash guard on and to take a long lead because she will swim to him lightly nip his rash guard at the neck and pull him in. It’s so embarrassing…………..😵‍💫🤣

He won't be coming to their farm. He will be going to a farm that stands studs. It's a facility that has the equipment to collect a stallion's semen and ship it. She said the location, but I can't recall it. I am sure her dream is to have a facility like that one day!

Mares are pregnant for 11 months… they can go over a year if they really wanted to they also have a safe date at 320 days they are able to foal and the foal is considered to be 340 full term.. they also don’t feel pregnant until they are in their 8/9 months in so technically they have easy pregnancies

He’s not a stallion yet… he’s a stud colt… if he needs to prove himself in the show pen which will take a couple more years at most to decide if he is able to.. he’s a pretty good colt so she’s keeping him as a stud… there’s no need to geld him unless he was acting up that would be a different story

No, in the video she says that most of her horses start baths young and sometimes when they are yearlings. It's just a time and schedule thing. They all need to start somewhere. Maybe the babies will start bath after they are weaned.
