Great insight into the 432 Daniel. I didn't realise there were so many little differences.

It's like the from-new owners were paying for so many things not in a regular car. Of course I kid. There were plenty of goodies that came with it, too :)

4 valves per cylinder, 3 carburetors, 2 over head camshaft, the perfect combination
@wasabicars2 жыл бұрын
That's it. I imagine it would have been quite incredible had it had the larger capacity of the SOHC L-series engines
@Culumbu2 жыл бұрын
@@wasabicars sure, this engine is a masterpiece, you can even modified the timing to improve the performance in racing or daily driving, or at least in the Kenmery (I hate that description, but I don't remember well the code for the second gen of the Skyline) is possible to varying the degrees, awesome

The os giken DOHC/custom block is the HOLY grail for any 240z owner IMO. From engine to clutch/fly wheel to dif its THE end game of endgame builds on a datsun z. For me at least. Tc24-b1z. Only question is custom fuel injection and throttle bodies....or carbs....as well as 6-2-1 headers, or 6-1 headers. If you havent seent/heard one I highly suggest looking into it...the 3.3L configuration is bonkers. As well as PRICEY

Met a cool old guy in a remote Japanese prefecture today. Showed me his warehouse, yes warehouse. The classic JDM cars inside would blow your mind. In the back tucked away was an orange Z just like the one above. My heart skipped a beat. I walked over and there I saw the badge, 432. Damn near shit myself and was hyperventilating. He appreciated the fact that I knew what a 432 is. Then he said the best thing I’ve ever heard: “The weather is really nice right now, I need some help driving these and keeping them running. They can’t just sit here sleeping. Can you come back next weekend with your girlfriend and take it for a drive? Oh and bring beer!” Currently working on getting adopted by him, will update later if I dont faint next weekend.

I've heard rumours of 'white body' Nissans that were intended for racing, and that there was a brief window of time that some got papers allowing them to be road-registerable. Didn't wanna bring that up in the video without concrete info though.

the dream is to nab a 240Z roller, and put a TC24-b1z in the thing with some welds on the interior and a custom fab stitch welded front end/engine bay. To add rigidity but have a cageless build for ultimate fun. Most likely over fender for wider tires/grip/cornering potential and wider fronts. Easily my dream car/build of builds. Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!! (BABBVEN LAWS AND TEBBVEN ORDERS)!!!!!!!
