My journey of an Eorzean lifetime began from asking myself one simple question on stream, Can a Classic WoW player start playing Final Fantasy XIV in June 2024 and catch up in time to be ready to join the new Dawntrail expansion?
This is my journey as a new player, a sprout, from WoW to FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, leading on through Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, Endwalker and finally into the brand new expansion, Dawntrail.
Having played MMORPG's for over 20 years and being a long time World of Warcraft player from vanilla classic up to the latest expansion The War Within, I have seen and played A LOT of different MMO's over the years, but nothing could have prepared me for the adventures that await in Square Enix masterpiece, Final Fantasy 14.

The bump in quality for the website itself is quite interesting. It’s one of the signs that Square finally felt confident that this game was actually going to stick around after their big rework. Pretty cool to see

I started playing when Heavensward came out so its my fav expansion it changed so many things in the game and finally the story started to get very intresting.

I started playing when The first two became free... me and o.h. are currently about 1/5 way through Endwalker... (BTW, where you will be in a few levels was the first place we BOTH needed our chocobos out healing us in a part of this expansion {argh, guns! argh respawn rate! argh, adds!} and that part definitely wasn't soloable for us filthy casuals :P , hadn't needed them before or since apart from once or twice in early Stormblood)

I'm confused because I use opera and I can click on the pictures on that website and bring it up. You did say Opera right?

Yeah Opera GX! Maybe I should reinstall or remove some extensions I use and see if that helps, but so far all of the historical patch websites have been misbehaving when I visit them :(
